I had a clump of about 15 large cedars and maples growing from 2 huge stumps. During our dry summer, I noticed that the cedars were dieing and since they were located close to my garage, I decided they needed to be removed. Ken Lenz from Kastle Tree Service gave me a good bid to remove, chip up the limbs and stack the logs.
A team of about 6 men arrived with their lift truck, chipper and tractor at 7:30am and immediately went to work. They knew exactly what to do and worked as a team to de-limb, top and then cut each tree. Once de-limbed, they put each limb thru the chipper so that the tree area was free of debris.
It took them 4 hours to remove all of the trees, to chip and stack the logs. Once done, they all worked to clean up the complete area. I decided to keep the chips so they dumped the load in the area I asked.
I had told Ken earlier that I had some additional work for them and would have them do it next summer. About 2 hours into the job, he told me that he would do that work now with no charge. I should add that this extra work meant they would have to climb up a huge cotton wood tree to de-limb limbs that I felt were dangerous. I have to say that this a very tall tree and probably over a 100 foot climb. The climber was very experienced and did a great job. Took about 1.5 hours and dropped all of the limbs with safety.
A 5 star rating is not high enough. I really appreciate their expertise, hard work and attention to detail on all faucets of the job.
Thanks for such a great job!
