I was pleasantly surprised by the selection in this outlet. The bags are more than reasonable compared to retail. I can't quite tell if they are 'out of season' or 'last seasons' bags, but they did have all season and very classic colors, styles etc. also accessories and wallets were plentiful. I do agree the store is small, but staff was friendly and even helped me pick a bag when I was torn between two. Overall, I walked out with a handbag, wallet, leather conditioner and cleaner for less than what I have paid for just the bags online. (Happy dance)! I will certainly return to this store. read more

What a fun store to go in if you like Kate Spade products. Really good quality! This outlet store is right at the end, so it's the perfect location for my husband (who hates to shop) to drop me off and pick me up. Great values. I go here every time I'm in town and I always get a new hand bag. The associates know me and my mom and are very helpful. The purses are always on sale!!! But, if you don't already know this, you should: outlets have merchandise made for them so don't think you're getting what's currently at Nordstrom's or even last seasons. Even though we now have a Kate Spade Outlet of our very own here in Hershey I still go here every time I am down in the area and always leave with something and rarely have to spend more than $100. This store is bright and clean and well stocked and the staff is usually friendly. Being an outlet you never know what you will find but I always stumble upon a nice item at a low price! I know that outlet items are different than the actual store items but I think the look and quality is good and for the price I don't care!! Shop in the back for their clearance and there's also usually a percentage off that price! read more

This is a small store in the Tanger Mall in N. Myrtle Beach. I was greeted upon entering and was looking for a specific handbag. The greeter went out of her way to help me find what I'm looking for. However she needed to stay near the front door. This is a small and narrow store, with women crowding and having long conversations in the walk way, so I was forced to walk around counters to go to the rear to check their selection. I found nothing and had to zigzag my way out. I do love Kate Spade bags, but this store is too narrow, the cash register is in the middle of the store, also occluding the walk way. There were selections of items that might suit someone else. I was disappointed in their size and selections. read more

Few years ago, a dear friend of mine got knocked up (and I'm saying this in a REALLY GREAT WAY haha) and was expecting a baby girl. Upon my business trip to New York, I managed to find an outlet Kate Spade store. I purchased a pink polka dot messenger bag. She was thrilled to receive the bag (but more so about having her first baby -- girl). Then one day, while she made a quick stop at the Dick's sporting goods store, someone stole her bag!!! (i mean COME ON! it's a friggin diaper bag for crying out loud!) She was so sad to loose that bag, and also a fair warning went out to anyone who may carry that bag that a beat down may happen. So, ANOTHER GREAT news, she got pregnant again! and this time, a baby boy! I knew she was pretty distraught when she lost the first bag, and I wanted to get her another one. There is a Kate Spade boutique in Charlotte (South Park mall), and a diaper bag ran somewhere in the $275 - $500. I mean, come on... it's not like I'm having a baby or anything. Alas, I googled for the woodbury kate spade number, but the map told me that myrtle beach location is closer. I thought maybe this is a mistake, there is no way I wouldn't know about this, but I was wrong. IT DOES EXIST! I haven't personally been to one yet, but I made the desperate call and a really amazing sales associate by the name of SHANNON answered my prayers. Hey, are you listening "new moms to be?!" There is an outlet for kate spade! The classy, elegant, highly coveted Kate Spade diaper bag. I called, spoke to SHANNON, and she immediately emailed me a picture list of diaper bags available at the store. Let's say I got my bag approximately 60% off retail. I phone ordered today with my cc, and I am expecting it to arrive by tomorrow. Yeah. she is that good. I am REALLY looking forward to checking out the place one day, but more than anything, looking forward to giving my friend a new bag for the new baby. Let's start by saying that this is a Kate Spade Outlet. They do carry items from retail stores past seasons at the outlet. Mostly the clothes, jewelry and shoes- occasionaly a bag or too. However, like Coach, Kate Spade seems to be making a line of bags strickly for their outlet stores. While these bags are pretty, and the colors are great, one has to wonder about the quality. Is the leather is good? Will the stiching hold? They have good prices, and seems to often run promotions. My sister bought a crossbody bag, and time will tell if the outlet bags are as nice as the retail store bags. I tired on some clothes, and as clothing is new to the Kate Spade brand, the outlet store does not have dressing rooms. So you are forced to try on clothes in the bathroom of the storeroom. There is no where to hang your bag or the clothes I was wearing to start with. As far as prices at the outlet on clothing, I can say for a fact that I have seen better prices on the Kate Spade website. The staff here will greet you at the door and tell you the promotions, but I have found that other than that they are a bit less than helpful. I guess we can chalk it all up to this being an outlet. read more

Carrie my saleswoman was very friendly. Not pushy, but close enough when I had questions about specific products. She had knowledge on the merchandise of the store. I had no intention of buying anything, as I was hoping they would have clothes and realized it was all leather goods. Ended up leaving with a cross-body bag that can be used a wallet. I wasn't impressed. There was 1 lady greeting people that was not able to leave the front of the store. 1 lady managing the register and that was it. We did see one lady come out from the back and I went to ask her a question but she shut us down and said "she was just stocking and couldn't help me". Alrighty then. I'm a huge fan of Kate Spade. Unfortunately, I'm not a huge fan of this location. I see other reviews mentioning how helpful the associates were to them. I wish I could say that's the case with me, but it's the opposite. I find the customer service in this store is lacking - big time. I've been to this store twice in the past year. Not once was I greeted. In fact, there hasn't been a single employee who has talked to me the two times I've been in here. I can't even take four steps in the Kate Spade Outlet back home without someone asking me if I'm finding everything okay. I went in this afternoon and the two girls near the front door were too busy talking about what they did over the weekend to greet or help the customers around them. I stayed near the front to look at some of the purses near the window. 5 - 8 customers trickled in after me and the employees didn't say one word to them, either. I didn't hear a single associate mention their sale or offer to help anyone find anything. The only cheerful employee was behind the counter, ringing up a customer. For the $$$ they charge for their merchandise, at least pretend you're happy to see customers in the store. Ask what they're looking for. Ask if they're finding everything okay. Greet them and let them know you appreciate their business. Where is the customer service? Skip this location if you're looking for a pleasurable shopping experience. I can honestly find cuter items for much less on the Kate Spade website under their sale section. read more

I usually have good experiences in this store and I am a frequent customer, but today when I went in to exchange a present that did not work for my mom, the manager was very rude. First the line is always disorganized because the store is so small, so we were line jumped two or three times before an employee finally noticed us. Then we were told we had to wait for the manager to do our exchange. She was helping someone with an exchange so we were once again sent to the back of the line. We did not have the receipt for the transaction, which was totally my fault, but I thought my information would be in their system. It was not although I shop there about once a month, so we did not get the full refund for our purchase. The manager did not apologize for the system malfunction and preceded to throw our new items in the old bag and did not wrap them in tissue paper as every other item I've gotten there had been packaged. Very disappointing treatment from the manager. read more
