She helps me consider the reality of the situation rather than just giving typical therapy answers. I'm more aware of how negativity is impacting my life. It's nice to have a professional who studied this to give me direction and I dont have to rely on friends and family. She understands where I'm coming from and doesnt judge. I highly recommend her to anyone seeking counseling.

I have never had a therapist/counselor before, and I searched until I found Elizabeth. Things I…read moreread online seemed good enough to give it a shot, as it can be intimidating to find someone to talk with. I met with Elizabeth twice, and neither time was great. I understand things don't just magically become better in one's life after meeting with a therapist only a couple of times, but it is not about that. My issue is that I'm both sessions, she did not provide any direction for me, she didn't really seem that interested in my issues, and didn't ask any probing questions to try and really help me. Basically, both times was a meet up and me tell her what's going on, for her to then ask me how I wanted her to help me. I don't really understand how a professional like her would ask me, the patient, how best could she help me - that is why I'm coming to you - you are the professional here, so give me some guidance. Perhaps this style is better for some people more than others, they may be okay with paying to go vent and lead themselves, but I found myself feeling more lost after both appointments. Nevertheless, I planned on giving it a shot one more time, and she had scheduled me for a specific date and time. I received the confirmation email back in December, so thought I was good to go for February. Then, I receive what felt like a very left-field and rude email directly from her. She told me the following " Please confirm that Feb 4th at 5:30pm works for you, or I will need to open this time slot." This email caught me off guard and felt a bit threatening as if I had been non-responsive. I responded back and told her that the email felt a bit aggressive, so I would like to cancel and not reschedule at this time. Her response was then " OK probably because I tend to be factual in emails. I will cancel." Again, seems to be an unprofessional response. My immediate reaction was wanting to respond back to her and let her know that just because you're being factual, you definitely don't have to be rude. I was factual in my email to her and was not rude. She is in the field of behavioral health, yet her own behavior doesn't really reflect that. You can be factual and word things in a way that is nice. This is an email, not a session where someone needs a dose of factual reality. Just really rubbed me the wrong way (in combination with other things), so I won't be returning to this messy office.

The lack of communication and support from the administrative side ultimately led me to seek care elsewhere. When paying a high out-of-pocket cost, a patient should reasonably expect timely responses and basic administrative assistance without having to repeatedly chase down staff. While I was incarcerated and unable to personally call the office, my mother contacted them simply to inform them that I would not be able to attend my appointment. She was not asking for any medical information, only trying to notify them on my behalf. Despite this, I was later charged the full amount for the one-hour session I could not attend. After I was released, I called the office to address the issue and was told that the office manager was out all week and that no one else, including Dr. D'Arienzo, could make a decision. I left a message requesting a return call and never received one. When I followed up again the next week, I was told the office manager was out yet again and that I should call back on Tuesday when she returned. When I asked why there was no one else who could assist, I was simply told to call back. At that point, I explained that I would no longer be using their services because of the poor customer service and lack of concern. The response I received was essentially "thank you and have a nice day," with no effort to resolve the matter or show any concern for the patient experience. It is disappointing because Dr. D'Arienzo himself was excellent, but the office support surrounding him was extremely poor. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this practice.

Which was absurd. It is all about the money, not about helping families. This office and parent coordinator Cynthia Salameh are both horrible. We had to visit Ms Salameh a handful of times and each time she just gave "advice" that favored the woman, when challenged about her not being legally binding she changed her "advice". Complete waste of time. Read the other reviews, do not fall for the tricks of the family court system - this is all about the money, they do not help families.

When Jennifer started with us we thought she was great. It became a nightmare very quickly. She was to conduct a report for our lawyers after evaluating myself, my ex husband, and my daughter. My ex husband at the time had some issues with alcohol and since been identified as neglectful towards our child. When it was time to publish the report, she kept giving excuses and giving different dates to publish. TWO YEARS went by and the report was never published. My attorney as well as myself reached out to her multiple times, showed up to her office, she completely avoided us. We had to have a judge ORDER HER to complete the report. She still did not do that. She ended up having to return us our money we paid her and even then it's an injustice. Wasted time, wasted money, and even worse my own child warmed up to her and asking "why don't I go to see Ms. Jennifer anymore?" The most unprofessional experience I have ever incurred at the hands of a "licensed professional" and I will be filing a formal complaint with the board. This person shouldn't even hold a license.

There's no dilly-dallying with her: she's not there to waste her time or yours; she's there to help you. If you go to see her with a concrete goal in mind or a problem to solve, she will do her absolute best to help you reach your goal or solve your problem. She really knows what she's talking about, too -- which is a refreshing change, given my experiences with other counselors in Meridian -- and not only is she able to explain complex psychological concepts in simple terms and make them feel relevant, but she's also able to apply them in ways that suit you as an individual. There's no "one size fits all" formula with her -- she takes the time to think about what will work *for you*. I think she is affordable as well. I personally paid out-of-pocket, but it was worth every cent: she gave me the psychological reinforcement and tools I needed to feel alive again in what was one of the lowest moments of my life, and now I'm more productive and resilient than I've ever been in my entire life. Without exaggeration, I say that Jennifer is the best therapist I have ever had in my life, and I would recommend her to anyone -- *anyone*.
