I will say the staff in the front was very polite but our psychologist is what gave us a bad taste in our mouth. We went to help our child and wound up finding out our therapist was telling me one thing and my child's father a different story. It was also discovered that the patient's confidentiality was not a priority in this case which is unacceptable since that's the person the child should trust. It was also discovered months later that there were accusations made stating that the child's issues were either the mother's fault to the father or vice versa. I am very shocked that this has happened is such an environment that should have been safe for my child not based on personal opinions and biased towards whatever party the conversations were being kept with. This is very dissapointing so all I have to say is if you choose them please be careful.

I participated in family therapy through the practice and attended the beginning of my children's sessions when requested. I was not a distant observer to these events. I was an active participant in the therapeutic process and had direct interactions with Susan Keenan over a period of years. My experience with Susan Keenan was deeply concerning. Information she provided in connection with my family's case did not accurately reflect the facts as I understood them and, in my view, contributed to a false narrative that had serious consequences for my relationship with my children. What makes this particularly troubling is that when Ms. Keenan made statements to the Guardian ad Litem regarding my family, it had been approximately six years since she had last treated my children. During those six years, she never contacted me to discuss concerns, verify timelines, review documentation, request updated information, or seek my perspective on events she was commenting on. I had previously communicated with Ms. Keenan, and those communications were positive in nature. In written communications, she described me as a positive influence in my children's lives. My prior interactions with her gave no indication of the concerns that were later attributed to her opinions. Despite having my contact information and having worked with me directly in the past, no effort was made to gather information from me before conclusions were formed and shared with the court. When I later provided documentation that contradicted key aspects of the narrative being presented, I saw no indication that those discrepancies were meaningfully addressed or corrected. More than two years after I posted my original review, that review was challenged and removed despite the fact that I retained and paid for the services, participated in family therapy through the practice, attended portions of my children's sessions, and was directly involved in the matters being discussed. The fact that a review was challenged years after it was posted does not change the underlying facts of my experience. Mental health professionals who become involved in family court matters wield tremendous influence. In my experience, that influence was exercised without adequate fact-checking, without input from all relevant parties, and without the diligence such serious matters deserve. Parents and courts alike should expect opinions to be based on current information, careful verification of facts, and a willingness to hear from all relevant parties before conclusions are reached. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Peachtree Psychology.
