Jill, the owner, was very welcoming and showed me the necklace which I loved, but it was a bit shorter than what I would've liked. She immediately offered that she could make me a longer one or adjust the clasp to make it longer. Jill also showed me other options that were longer. She was very customer focused, patient and extremely pleasant! Her husband Mike was also there and chatted it up with my husband. I found her prices to be reasonable for the high quality stones and craftsmanship. She has many beautiful items in the shop, much more than jewelry. She also sells loose beads and stones. I ended up getting two beautiful necklaces, one with pearls & chunky turquoise and another with regalite & pearls that Jill made special for me in length. She also made me matching earrings that completed my perfect sets. I love my NZ Creations as my souvenirs from my birthday trip during Art Deco Week!!! It was on the spur of the moment, that we popped into the delightful looking flower shop / coffee…read morebar. There was a wonderful aroma of fresh flowers intermingling with fresh coffee. It was a shame that we only had time for a quick look around, and a wonderful coffee. This is a place we would come back again when next in the area, the staff and very friendly and helpful. Beware we spotted a couple of yummy looking treats too.

Paintings, garden sculpture, fine jewellery, upcycled art, retro, landscapes .... Well worth stopping and wandering through. Bought a beautiful citrine and silver ring. Had to stop myself buying more. Loved the iron sculptures and the multi coloured sheep!

This place is so unique and beautiful! There's an old-fashioned sweet shop, gift shop, café,…read moreprivate event room, life-size metal animal sculptures and live animals including ostriches and ducks. All of it is in a lovely garden setting. They have nice spots to sit outside including picnic tables, patio tables and chairs and a swing for two. Our tour guide told us not to sit in the café because the service was slow. He lives nearby so we took his word for it. The prices in the gift shop were high but the items for sale were distinctive. I recommend enjoying the ambience and buying some sweets to go.

Then, after we had eaten the scone, coffees arrived. One had been spilled so the server insisted on replacing which is good. My coffee however was tepid and I drank it in two minutes and then we had to wait again for the final coffee to arrive. This place could be amazing and 5 star if only they could get their act together.
