Amazing Indian / Nepali food. This place is new so only had a couple of 5 star reviews on Google. We tried their tandoori chicken, naan, couple of chicken dishes (tikka masala and do piazza) and Paneer Palak. All items were exceptional in taste and had fresh ingredients. Service was friendly and attentive, restaurant is clean and so are the bathrooms. A must visit place if you are around Madrid airport. read more

Great option for Indian and nepali food. The chicken momos were excellent and the sauce that comes with them was stellar. Chicken biryani was also good, and the salna/sauce complemented it perfectly. My only issue was the Raita was extra and want included with the biryani so I suggest the restaurant consider that. But that's not enough for me take away a star from the great food. This cozy restaurant was a welcome & delicious surprise. All of the staff was warm, friendly & respectfully attentive - English friendly as well! The Veggie Samosas we ordered were explosively flavorful, buttery & delicious with the provided sauces. For our entrées we ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala & Palak Paneer with Coconut Rice Garlic Naan: All were fantastic; the naan was picture perfect & melted in our mouths. Stopped in based on the reviews posted prior. Those reviews were spot on. This place is clean throughout and the food is fantastic. The owner is actively making sure your meal is as expected and you are pleased. He will make suggestions and even bring some samples for you to try. This is now my favorite Indian restaurant unfortunately I live 5,800 miles away in Los Angeles. I was staying at a nearby hotel before flying out the next morning. If you are anywhere near this place stop by and let them know I sent you. read more

Got a taxi from the Hilton Madrid Airport because it was just about the only non-tapas place around. (German place excluded.) Service was quick and friendly. They warned us about the spicier foods, but we were up for it. Very flavorful mixture of vindaloo, curry, mango chicken, samosas, and naan. Not the greatest Indian food ever, but for Spain it was outstanding. The price was unbeatable. Highly recommended. read more

The food here was delicious! I got the chicken tika masala and requested for it to be spicy. It was the perfect spice level when it came out, much better than some Indian restaurants I have eaten at in the states. The staff is also extremely friendly and attentive. Excellent Indian and Nepali food. Very kind service. We had our last meal in Spain here and the food was delicious. We shared the Palak Paneer and Tikka Masala shrimp, along with garlic naan and mango lassi. All was excellent, as was the Nepali tea at the end. I wish I could eat here more often! read more

This review is long overdue! This is actually my first yelp review! My friends and I were staying in the area for one night. It was our last night in Spain and we had been celebrating my birthday all week up until my actual birthday, the day we visited Kathmandu Tandoori House. I am vegan so traveling with my friends who are not vegan can be a bit tricky when choosing restaurants, but this place satisfied all of our needs. The staff was very accommodating and empathized with my dietary restrictions. All of the servers spoke English and one spoke Spanish (I speak both languages) so it was very easy to communicate. We loved all their recommendations. I had a vegetable curry dish with rice and roti. My friends shared a little bit of everything. Towards the end of dinner, the staff surprised me with a birthday dessert and champagne! The dessert, unfortunately, was not vegan, but my friends got to enjoy it. My glass of champagne and nepali tea was all the dessert I needed! The staff definitely made my birthday a memorable one; it was a great ending to our trip. I cannot say enough nice things about the food and service. I highly recommend Kathmandu Tandoori House. read more

We had to stay in Barajas for the evening awaiting our flight back to the states from Spain and, being vegetarian, it's difficult to find restaurants that offer menu items that can accommodate that dietary restriction. They were very pleasant, kind and helpful. They had several veggie options that were delicious and hearty. Also, they treated us to Nepali black tea after hour meal! Best Indian restaurant in town. Friendly staff and delicious food. I asked if it was possible to get butter chicken (even so it was not on the menu) and they happily prepared it for us. The owner is from Nepal living many years in Spain and has created the perfect spot in the middle of Barajas for curry lovers!!! read more

Stopped by on our way from airport for some delicious Indian food! We thought they may not be able to match our Punjabi tastes, but we were pleasantly surprised. We had Lamb Bhuna, dal makhni, gulab jamun and aloo paratha. All were excellent. The complimentary masala tea at the end was wonderful too!! read more
