I nabbed one up and took a class as soon as I could, and was very excited to finally learn a little bit more about my camera and how it works. The class ran for 2.5 hours, with a 15 minute break planned in there. Scott did a great job with the curriculum and broke it down into relevant sections that all tied in together. I got a great schooling on the basic functions of my camera, and the key 3 or 4 things I'd need to know to get better pictures with a camera that has better optics than I do. The studio is on 9th Street, and is a great little space that is very entertaining. Entertaining? You ask - how? Well, photographers need props, right? :) They've got lots of stuff to work with, and lots of things to look at. I think the class could have used a little bit more hands on work - but really, that's what the next level of class is for, right? :-) Overall, I was really pleased with it and hope to get another one in soon.

We have a large selection of portrait photos and candid shots. All of the photos that we requested on our shot list are there.... and we had a pretty long list. -Scott and his wife Michelle are both photographers, and both came to our wedding, plus two assistants. This allowed us to have pictures from different locations during the wedding and reception. -Scott and Michelle are enjoyable people to be around. This is a great trait normally, but I especially appreciated it on our wedding day. -During our family and wedding party photos, Scott and Michelle were a fantastic team. Scott was taking photos while Michelle had our shot list and got everyone ready for photos, positioned them, and helped get smiles out of everyone - including my cousin's baby and other younger family members. Their process helped things go quickly and smoothly, and we got all of shots that we wanted (with everyone looking in the right direction and smiling - no small feat with our family!). -Scott is very creative. We wanted some fun poses in addition to the standard portraits. They had some great ideas, and are some of my favorites! -There are a lot of options for items to purchase. Our package included the highlight reel DVD, and we highly recommend getting that. It is set to music and includes songs that were played at our ceremony and reception. It really captured our wedding and is a great momento. -We purchased a montage style wedding album and love the results. Both sets of parents purchased replica albums and those turned out great as well. -Before the wedding, there was an issue with my flowers, and Michelle was in the room when I found it. Although I had initially been told that it could not be fixed, Michelle made one phone call and solved it! Overall, they really captured us. Scott and Michelle are great to work with. We had a lot of fun at our wedding, and it shows in the photographs.

Corey worked with our 10 month old recently and we were really pleased with her work. She was a…read morelittle late from running over with another session but the kindness and patience she showed in spending extra time with this sweet mother only 2 weeks postpartum made me quickly forget. She shared that she had really developed as a photographer using it as a form of therapy after facing postpartum depression. My respect for her grew tremendously when she shared that so openly after only knowing me for a short while. During the session she was mentoring a fellow photographer, "a way to pay it forward" - and again, I think this speaks volumes about her character. Her studio was gorgeous - tons of natural light with large windows and comfy chairs. I loved that it didn't take a ton of props and "glamour shot" type set up to get started. I think too many times people go over the top with child photography but Corey kept it simple and made sure our daughter was having fun. This in turn really captured her in a way that showed who she is - beautiful inside, too. In terms of Corey's demeanor and work - she was incredibly sweet, patient, patient, professional, and great with our little one. She even shared some snacks to get her "camera ready." Corey did an awesome job of just naturally capturing our little girl's spirit and personality. She didn't try to force anything and really knew when things were and weren't working. It's taken me almost a month to write this review because I have so many positive things to say…read moreabout Morgan that I couldn't even organize my thoughts. From our very first call with her, I knew she was the photographer for us. She is so incredibly personable and down to earth, from the moment you first speak to the moment she wraps up photos for your big day. We had the unfortunate task of rescheduling our wedding (less than a week before our original date) due to COVID and Morgan was incredibly thoughtful and accommodating, given the situation. I had gotten to know her pretty well and refused to book a new date without first checking to make sure she'd still be available- and BOY am I glad I did. Every bride knows how difficult it is to focus on the small details you've spent months and months putting together because there are a million people to greet and thank- Morgan captured every last detail from our small sentimental items to the venue set-up and I was able to look back and enjoy all the things I missed on our big day. She was incredibly attentive to any particular photos we wanted (i.e. first look with dad) and did a phenomenal job facilitating those moments. My husband is not the most comfortable in front of the camera and yet I still tasked her with the big job of capturing candid moments that really displayed our personalities and relationship. She had a way of posing us but snapping photos of the intimate and hilarious moments before and after the pose in order to deliver the most candid and organic photos. Truly, I have relived our big day over and over by constantly revisiting the gallery provided by Morgan. I also have to take a minute to mention that, on a personal note, Morgan has a WONDERFUL personality and amazingly positive vibe about her. I felt comfortable from the moment she walked in the door and honestly our dynamic just vibed and we spent the day laughing, joking, and making the most memorable photos I could've asked for. If you're having photographer commitment issues- just book her. Dont think twice. Don't bother looking elsewhere. It doesn't get any better than this wonderful lady and her amazing talent.
