If I could give negative stars I would. After our CPA retired after taking care of us for over a decade, I found this company on google and the staff initially seemed impressive, but looks are definitely deceiving. I was scammed by them for 3 years (2020-2023) and its been 2 years since I finally had enough and fired them, and in that 2 years leading up to this review, I STILL have not fixed all the mistakes, late filings and mess with both the state and federal IRS that this incompetent company put me in. Not to mention the over $15K in penalties I'm still fighting that they accrued BC they couldn't do their job. Mind you that my business is not complicated, it just my husband and I, no employees, 6 to 7 invoices a month. All business transactions are on a QuickBooks. I have all the emails and correspondence to prove how incompetent these people are and depending on how this all finally goes with the IRS we might be filing suit. Now having had to do my own research they are also WAY overpriced for the services they "advertise" even if they actually did them. My new CPA is 1/4 of the cost and had my remaining taxes Carrington didn't file reviewed, repaired, filed ELECTRIONICALLY with a conformation in under 2 hours while I sat in her office. All I received from Katrina was dozens of excuses and delays, saying she "could not file" bc my EIN number was bad (It obviously wasn't even after I showed her an updated letter). Turns out in all reality Carrington simply couldn't SPELL my company name correctly, even though she had my past returns to review. Why did we stay so long? BC despite the delays and excuses I was always assured all would be taken care of, and at the time I knew as much about taxes as a rock and being self-employed we both work LONG hours, so I was easily duped into believing that garbage they were feeding me. I can only imagine that they stay in business BC its a military town and new people come and go regularly and they fall for the same scam I did. I hope this review helps anyone looking for CPA services to steer FAR AWAY from this absolutely incompetent company. Their slogan "Do what you love. Let us handle the accounting!" is most definitely false advertising. Please do not make the same mistake we did. read more

I contacted them at the beginning of April and was told they would need to file for an extension because they were very busy. I said fine and prepaid my fee including the extra extension fee. I uploaded all documents to the website in the first week of April and my return still isn't ready. I check in every few weeks and get nothing but delays. I'm very unhappy that it's been almost 4 months and I still don't have a completed return. While the office staff has been pleasant, I don't recommend using them unless you have the patience of Job. read more

(I have actually been updating this for a while) It took several emails and calls just to get the company to respond to my request for assistance. They said my documents were never received. A friend applied at the same time and her document were not received either. System issue or follow up issue? Submitted paperwork and waited months for the return to be completed. Company asked for documents already given. Repeated questions several times. Asked for clarifications on some document requests and was ignored. This led to another delay. Secure site did not work very well. Once complete, took over a week to review. Came back with me owing, asked them to review again, different amounts came back (I didn't owe). Received a fail to pay letter for state taxes. Addressed this issue with ALL agencies. Two claim a mistyped error. Have called, do not take responsibility, will not pay failed payment. I have paid the failed payment fee, the taxes, plus a processing fee (for reprocessing), and an additional 2.8%. I know that Corona is slowing businesses down but a friend went to H&R block and got her taxes done in less than 24 hrs. I will also be contacting BBB and the surrounding military bases who have a bad business list. read more

Professionalism goes a long way with me and your staff was more than courteous, took pride in their work, offered suggestions, kept me on my toes on missing information and to be honest the whole portal thing made the process smooth and easy.
