Her cough started right after bringing her home from a quick tech visit that same morning. I gave NRAH a call, and they asked "How fast can you get here?" No hesitation whatsoever! My pup is fine, always anxious when she's at the vet haha but that's how I feel when I have to go to the doctor so that's normal. Hopefully I won't have to come back until her next check up. Dr. Jiao examined him, and while we were waiting for lab results in the sitting area, Mr. P suddenly went limp and stopped breathing in my arms. Dr. Jiao immediately performed chest compressions and successfully revived him. As I type this, we're still not sure if Mr. P will make it through, he's in critical condition, and the next 24 hours will be telling. I just wanted everyone to know how incredible Dr. Jiao is. I have been taking Bella to the Larchmont Animal Hospital since we adopted her from the shelter and every person I've encountered there has been professional, kind and patient. Today, however was the first time Bella was examined by Dr. Fullerton. I can't say enough about how Dr. Fullerton listened to my many concerns about my cat and offered several suggestions on how to make Bella's and our lives easier. When going to any vet, the human interaction is a very important part of the animal's exam. Dr. Fullerton immediately put me at ease and she really listened to me describe all the problems I've had with Bella. I've loved cats all my life and have been to many veterinarians over the years but Dr. Fullerton and her professional staff at Larchmont Animal Hospital is by far the best I've ever encountered.

I was shocked to find some woman veterinarian come in and in a nutshell she decided that the cat was dangerous and needed to be put to sleep. She couldn't force me but she was so strong and insistent and I was in such shock I wasn't thinking clearly I never would have allowed that without more evaluation. And so I put my five-year-old baby to sleep because she has been attacking me when I realized when I went home and found more research that I was covering her hiding spot and she was stressed and I told the doctor that this was a recent behavior which should have clued her and I killed my poor baby only 5 years old for no reason. The doctor was hardcore and vicious maybe she was good medically but certainly not adequate on other levels and I'm devastated. How do you bring back an animal that you loved and raised since it was 3 months old? The cat was my friend it was perfect I realized that but it should have been evaluated differently. I don't know why I wasn't thinking clearer.. I'm shocked at myself for allowing this to happen without more evaluation. I would not go to this hospital unless you see Dr Katz but I'm going to call him and give him a piece of my mind for hiring a woman who had no heart and was totally way off base. She even said well there are 800,000 animals out there waiting to be adopted like this one doesn't even matter. This was my pet!!! A pet who slept on my bed at night and kissed me in the morning who was stressed out and I didn't realize it and there was the doctors mandatory obligation to explore a little bit more about why the cat may have been acting out rather than scaring and shocking me as she did. Thanks to Dr. Surgeon's intelligence, skill, and compassion, our dog is still with us, all healed up, back to his healthy weight, and calmly and happily enjoying his elder years. They sent him to Dr. Jiao and he told my parents that the dog is not overweight but has bad joints and arthritis and will never walk again, and he put my poor dog on medication for the rest of his life. After hearing this from my parents and arguing with them to try and convince them that Dr Jiao is a typical money hungry lying sneaky pig who knows more than well my dog is overweight, I put my foot down and began to feed the dog myself. I put him on a strict lean meat diet one meal a day and cut all the medication and within 3 weeks my dog is running around full of life happy as can be. Send your pets to this clown at you own risk.

Dr. Jiao made sure Lucky was comfortable on the last night of his life, and his vet techs looked after Lucky all night, until we got to see him the next morning. Lucky had been sick for a while, but our last vet was unable to diagnose Lucky's illness, which we found out from Dr. Jiao was likely cancer. Dr. Jiao went into detail on how/why Lucky's last vet may have missed the cancer, even though it was obvious that he was suffering from something, and Dr. Jiao let us know that there wasn't much we could've done to prevent this. For routine medications, especially those that are critical, communication and timely processing are just as important as the medical care itself. Tiffany the manager is the person I've been dealing with for many years and I never had a complaint about her. She's sincere about her job. The manager before her wasn't alway pleasant but she did care for the animals. Beverly the lady that answers the phone has always been professional. I filled out the application which was easy to fill out and added the vets that my loving babies go to. I called up after filling out the application and I set up an appointment and when I got there they handed her to me and I cried. She was a tiny precious little girl.
