as is common with many hotels, be aware that the Lamm does not have air-conditioning. they provide a small fan in each room; however, even when the hotel is not fully booked and temperatures are record-breaking, they refuse to provide any extra fans for guests. this one-fan-per-room rule is the reason i have to dock a star; hospitality is the #1 job of a hotel and taking care of guests' comfort should take precedence over policy.
the hotel features some nice touches; for example a "good night box" in each room with a handmade lavender sachet, earplugs, and gummi bears. self-serve coffee and fruit is available in the lobby.
the included breakfast buffet is quite nice; the food is artfully presented, and the eggs are made to order! the tea service is especially well-done.
other pluses are a common room with a refrigerator divided into private compartments -- simply get a key at the desk and you can store your own food!
there is also bike parking in the lot across the street in a secure, well-lit shed. and if you need a bike, there are reasonable rentals available of both regular and e-bikes, including for families with young kids.
