While we were staring in the Mala Strana, it was just over a mile walk to get to Smichov, having a chance to pass by the Memorial to the Victims of Communism on our walk. Interesting setting and location, would have never found the place if it weren't for Janek, The Honest Guide on You Tube, calling the Eggs Benedict, "legendary." We can vouch for that, the soufflé was amazing looking and tasting. Big enough that my girlfriend could not finish the plate. I opted for the traditional English breakfast. It was a full plate of food that was fantastic! The beans were flavorful, the roasted tomatoes juicy and warm. The sausage AB's bacon cooked perfectly. The string is unique, very artsy in my opinion, combining indoor/outdoor seating. Very open and comfortable, appeared to be many locals taking in a morning coffee or breakfast and working. There is the main area and a side room with cushioned chairs for sitting and a large selection of books on the shelf (in Czech, but that makes sense given its a local place). For the eats, I had red espresso for the first time. This is made from concentrated tea. If you like tea, want the caffeine, and don't mind a concentrated flavor, try it. It's very tasty and not too powerful taste wise. Along with that I had the cappuccino, which was frothy and soothing. For food, the croissant. During the summer there is a green park, where you can sit, chat, have a drink, play frisbee, or whatever you like. Once there was even a free outdoor cinema.. Inside there are often various concerts and other events. I totally recommend the place for its relaxing atmosphere and on top of that the place is helping to integrate people with disorder into the society. I think it is just amazing. I am a frequent guest!

We wanted to grab breakfast before we were headed to the airport but didn't feel like eating too much. First, they have a high chair, a huge plus for us parents. I got the mascara-done caramel banana pancake, which the server told us was a popular item. My husband got the salmon with cream cheese, and he said that was amazing. So unlike other places that usually stack pancakes and then put the topping at the top, this each layer has the filling, so each layer of the salmon pancake has cream cheese and salmon. I got the halloumi pancakes and a karak latte. It's obviously not fast food, but both food and drink came out in what seemed like a totally reasonable amount of time. The pancakes were very good and also seemed very healthy as far as pancakes go - everything was perfectly balanced. The halloumi and avocado as well as the hummus were layered in the stack so every bite had something in it. The karak latte was also very good with a smooth flavour. I appreciated that they could make it with alternative milk since most places I've been to that serve this will only do it with dairy. Would absolutely recommend for a fun, relaxed breakfast or lunch.
