We read that there were many places in this area that targeted tourists with exorbitant charges,…read morebut from reading reviews I thought that this was not that kind of place. I was wrong; I should have read more carefully. The menu with prices is only available by scanning a QR code, the online menu is complex and slow to load, and it takes careful scrutiny to notice the 10% service charge and additional per person cover charge, and an advanced math degree to make sense of the Turkish Lira conversion. Although many of the mezze dishes seem to be reasonably priced, in our case they brought out and charged for two and three orders of each without asking or telling us. A single order of sole fillet, once you go through the math of converting TL to USD is $83. Overall, although the view is beautiful, eating here makes one feel taken advantage of, and scammed. Take a look at the other reviews that mention the cost of this restaurant, and take a look at the prices on their online menu before going here. Other reviewers have mentioned a staggering charge of 700 euros for 4 people. This is a basic seafood restaurant that does not warrant this cost, and they go about this in a very underhanded fashion. I attempted to discuss this with the restaurant manager by phone the next day, and other than sending me a copy of the itemized bill, would not explain why we were charged for a total of 15 mezzes.
