An alright place if you're in yarraville and after a pleasant dine in Japanese feed.
The alacarte prices are pretty dear - you have been warned. That being said so was ajitoya, but if you have dined at both you will know the difference in quality, authenticity and taste.
Waitstaff are friendly and eager, extremely apologetic when i received a bill of a martini glass full of umeshu plum wine for $115. I thought it was amusing though! The interior has a confusing vibe, has a certain charm somewhat but besides the menu offering and the sushi train that takes up 80% of the place you wouldn't have thought it was a japanese restaurant!
For me as a local - ajitoya betters kawa sake. Sorry guys!!!
Oooh they have sushi train though! Haven't tried it here but still looks fun... Who doesn't love sushi train! read more
