The home dialysis is the best option if you can qualify, and is very safe and efficient way to get the dialysis treatment you need. This type of dialysis is for people who can under directions, keep an open mind. You also need to be a clean and sanitary person to have do the best chance of success. The nurses there all highly trained professional with emphasis on sanitary practices, following instructions, and a learned ability to set up your own dialysis machine. They offer 24/7 support so you are never have guess on anything. Each person is assigned a nurse, I was assigned the Nurse named Daisy, who in all practical purposes is an expert. We meet once a week to review my dialysis, make adjustments, and get needed injections, blood draws etc. The expert PD staff teach self reliance, but with needed concern, and or short notice appointments if required. They monitor your progress using dialysis logs, blood tests, exams, and you even get to see Nephrologist at least once's month. They are well organized know what they are doing, and the oversight on them and me keeps 100% feeling confident. They extras such flu shots, help with prescriptions and other in clinic services are very helpful. Bottom line it's not easy to do any type of dialysis, but the staff at Davita Home Dialysis are extremely experienced. Daisy and Anita are true professionals who care about you as patient and person. They Treat your with respect, but sometimes they have to let you know if your doing something to jeopardize your health. The entire program can include just you, or family member if you think you may need assistance. Finally upon completion of training they will come out to inspect your home dialysis area making sure it's safe before you receive your equipment and supplies. The staff nurses are always checking on me to assess my condition. All of the staff will ask you " how do you feel"? Dialysis is not a easy process to go through, however the kind treatment I have receive here at this Davita location helps minimize the effects of the treatment. The treatment area is kept clean and organized. This location handles a large number of patients so they stay very busy, but remain friendly and smile. Bottom line if you need dialysis for some reason consider trying this location.

Dialysis patients like me are some of the vulnerable members of the population requiring specialized care. It take special people dedicated to managing what can be difficult and complex issues to manage. Those type of people work at this location. I realize DaVita is a business, however it's the people that create the success. I highly recommend this location if you are going to need dialysis.

I paid the cash price upfront at the time of my procedure. Then, a month later, I received an additional $350 bill. When I called Abigale, I was told she was "unaware of the extra needle charge" at the time they quoted me and apologized. They still haven't fixed their issues with Anthem - so now I'm stuck with a $350 unexpected bill. Unprofessional and unacceptable in my book. Won't go back and do not recommend.

They have a unisex ADA restroom available right in the lobby. (I would suggest a hook or small table in the restroom for patrons to hang belongings.) I do have to say that I was very surprised that the television in the lobby was showing Jerry Springer. That's not really something I would consider appropriate for a doctors office, but that's just me. I'm sure that there is a channel that shows something more appropriate for general audiences.

Estella was the person who took me to the back & took all my vitals. She was so kind, companionate, & carrying, taking the time to hear me ramble on about myself, showing me I was the only thing that mattered in the moment. The doctor as well was great was very thorough & took the time with me reviewing & going over all my results from the hospital. He really put me at ease after having a stroke (TIA) knowing I was in good & capable hands. I would diffidently recommend South valley Vascular.
