I walked in high sprung out on stress and frustration and at this point was desperate for success in what I was trying to achieve (my deadline is fast approaching). I worked directly with Allison (spelling) who took the time to allow me to partially vent but also to explain my situation and not only did she handle the situation with a lot of patience but she was very compassionate. She took the time to measure out my finger, asked questions that would contribute to meet the resolution and even followed up on me when she realized that she gave me the incorrect eta after overseeing the recent holiday. I received a phone call the day I was told it was expected to be back. When I arrived for pick up the staff was warm and greeted me. My ring came back cleaner and shinier than I was expecting &...my issue was resolved in the first crack. To my surprise, the staff that was present was aware of my situation even though Allison was not working at that moment and that honestly made me feel as though the staff here takes the time to understand and get to know their customers. I was even offered some jewelry cleaner and they really didn't have to do that. I hope they remain here in Silverdale as I would like to continue to come here.

When I arrived he said it was $30 for a battery change and $25 for a link change (he said if I needed two links which I had, but was missing one of the two pins that would be needed to hold the links together, it would be an additional $10 for the part). I tried to haggle as it is a cash only business, to which he added sales tax to the service. So just over 60 dollars for a battery change and one link put-on. I personally think he was overcharging $5-$10 per service performed (in this case, two). However, he is an expert with years of experience and one of the very few watch makers available in the area. Also, you don't have to ship your watch if you don't want to (like many places require nowadays). There are various ATM's close-by within walking distance. It took Mike about 15 minutes and I would recommend but, must know he is firm with his business and signs are posted that sales are final whether your watch works afterwards or not.

I just took 12 watches to the kiosk in Silverdale Mall.It was an hour before closing on a Sunday…read morenight. I was greeted immediately with, "I'll be right with you, Ma'am!" though the clerk was busy with another customer. (So easy, yet so rare these days!) She assured me it would be no problem to replace batteries in all watches before closing. She chatted easily with me as she collected the watches, and got right to work. I left and came back to pick up the watches, and she was, once again, busy with another customer. I watched as she treated this man with the same easy respect and help as I'd experienced earlier. Again, she said she'd be right with me and that she had finished with all of my watches! Who would think that the best service in town would be at a Watchmaster kiosk in the mall? But it was, and she made it look easy. Kat was her name and she made my day! I thanked her for her genuinely respectful and helpful service and told her to follow her dreams, as she has that skill that is so difficult to teach, and so obviously above and beyond the rest.! Also, with the company the fix, make sure you ,give out receipts, write up what you're doing and hand it to the customer, just don't take their iPhone , iPad, whatever you're fixing for the customer And not give them proof that you took it from them, and you ask for money upfront for something you haven't even done.
