The breakfast potatoes were cooked to perfection! The other persons in my party got an omelet, French toast, and chocolate chip pancakes. I was the only one who didn't finish (I was full). The staff was friendly and the service was quick! Parking is confusing but the staff inside reassured that where we parked was good. We were on vacation and to our disappointment we didn't get Adam's Egg the first day but literally on our way to the airport! Definitely worth a visit (or two)

Located on the beach side of Atlantic Avenue in what looks like a motel, Adam's Egg appears to be a popular place for motel guests. We were seated promptly by an overly friendly server and perused the menu. After hearing about their breakfast special, Adam's Breakfast Bowl, my wife decided to order that with crispy house potatoes, crispy bacon and scrambled eggs with gravy on the side ($15). She also ordered a side of toasted wheat toast ($2). I ordered the Adam's Two and Two with scrambled eggs, bacon and house potatoes ($13). We each ordered coffee ($8) and water to go with our meals. My wife liked her dish but thought the potatoes weren't crispy. My breakfast was fine, although I thought the scrambled eggs lacked the fluffiness that I've come to expect for an elevated breakfast experience. Lately, I've been judging breakfast joints by how fluffy their scrambled eggs are...and this didn't quite make the mark. It was an OK breakfast. The highlight of our meal was the friendly and efficient server. Breakfast for 2 with tip came out to just over $48.

There's not a ton of space, which I'm sure makes the rush brunch worse. Facilities were to clean and well maintained, well decorated as well. Our server Ashley was friendly and great. The food was delicious! My fiance and I both got veggie omelettes, he was able to add bacon to his and sub the potatoes for a fruit cup. We got an English muffin and wheat toast. Their wheat toast was massive and hearty, with seeds on the crust. I loved it! Veggie omelettes are always a good test of a chefs skills as they can be super wet from the high water content in veggies. Ours were cooked perfectly, no soppy mess and the veggies tasted crisp and fresh. I don't know if this is a downside, but the menu claimed the omelettes were 4 eggs, but it sure felt like 6 or 7! It was massive! The fruit cup didn't have a bunch of copout fruit in it, it came with really fresh strawberries, bananas and blackberries along with cantaloupe and pineapple. The only truly negative thing I noticed was the jam came in a small plastic cup and when I tasted the jam, it tasted like the plastic, so I couldn't eat it. Overall this is a great breakfast spot that rivals the sitting veterans on the area (first watch, kekes). Give it a go, but be wary of busy rush hours!

We sat on the patio which was clean and relaxing and the food gets 100/10 stars. Can I do that? Who cares... I am. The avacado toast topped with bagel seasoning and diced tomatoes then topped with over medium eggs. WOWWWZZZA. then my boyfriend had the protein breakfast - scrambled eggs w cheese, Canadian bacon and sausage links. Then we split (well I had 1/4) of a Belgian waffle. Dude and dudettes. That hit the spot!!! GO.... NOW.... RUNNNN!!!

Typically, I'm someone who automatically goes for their famous chicken and waffles, but this time around I wanted to switch things up and try something completely different. I opted for the Meat Lovers Scramble Bowl, and made a quick substitution: I swapped out the standard hollandaise sauce for their sausage gravy. It was the absolute right move! The bowl was packed with so much incredible flavor and was super filling. Since I was dining alone, I grabbed a seat at the bar. The staff here was incredibly nice and attentive--more than one person stopped by throughout my meal just to ensure I was taken care of and didn't need a single thing. If you are looking for a fantastic, hearty, home-cooked meal in Daytona, I would definitely recommend checking this place out. I won't wait so long to return next time!

The setting is fantastic, with both indoor and outdoor seating that creates a great atmosphere, especially for a date night or special occasion. The food was really good. I ordered the ribeye, and it was cooked well and full of flavor. Overall, everything we had was enjoyable, and the quality of the food matched the restaurant's atmosphere. The highlight of our experience was our waiter. He was attentive, friendly, and provided excellent service from start to finish. Unfortunately, the bar experience wasn't as enjoyable. The bartender was very strict about checking IDs. Every time I ordered two drinks, he wanted to know exactly who the second drink was for and requested multiple IDs. I completely understand following the law and checking identification, but having to repeat the process every round became a bit frustrating and discouraged us from ordering additional drinks from the bar. Even the manager seemed like he was having a stressful day, but despite a few service hiccups, the overall experience was still very positive. If you're visiting Daytona Beach and want a nice waterfront restaurant that's a little different from the typical beach spots, Mama Foo Foo is definitely worth checking out. Great food, beautiful views, and a perfect place to take someone out for a nice dinner or date night. I'd happily come back.

Update: Husband showed signs of food poisoning. Will DEFINITELY not be back! And definitely don't get the shrimp linguine!
