KBS is the only vendor in the Adelaide CBD offering Korean products that I can think of from memory, excluding China Town. I'm under the impression that they are a prospective chain of stores, as there is another KBS store on Currie Street with the same selection of products. You'll be able to find all your favourites, from Shim-Ramyun noodles to onion rings - but the store's Korean selection doesn't really go beyond snacks. I do enjoy the fact that they offer hot cans of coffee, which is especially comforting in winter. Otherwise, it's not too different from any other convenience store you'll come across in town.
Having said that, I find that there's an unusual element of mystery I tend to enjoy when visiting this store. The last time I was there, the old man behind the counter that served me was casually sipping cough medicine before I entered and after I left the store. Despite the store clerk's obvious lack of concern to both the store and his own health, I couldn't help but laugh at this peculiar little event.
