W Vincent Joiner Dundee rang the day before and ensured that everything I ordered from Homebase for the Boiler Cupboard had arrived - a sensible move, but not every joiner company does this! Billy and his colleague arrived precisely on time at 8.00am the following day. When I arrived home in the evening the kitchen had a lovely boiler cupboard concealing the tangle of ugly pipework that an inconsiderate plumber had left me with! The floor had been thoroughly swept and the flat left tidy by W Vincent Joiner Dundee. The next day Billy again arrived punctually with the tiled panel to conceal the lower pipework. After a few minor adjustments and grouting the team were away by 8.45am! I will definatally use this Dundee Joiner company again and have actually requested a quote for a bathroom fitting - they do more than just joinery.

They eventually fixed that, but later the black fixtures began to peel. I was made to feel it was my fault before they reluctantly replaced them. Just over two years later, a leak ruined the bath panel. Their own plumber, who attended three times to diagnose the issue, eventually found that the seals around the bath had lifted. This isn't normal for a bathroom of that age, especially used by one person and without visible damage/degradation. After two weeks of silence, the company again blamed me and claimed the failure was "expected." Only after I threatened legal action did they agree to replace the panel, but even then, they refused to communicate and delayed installation for over three months. Deeply disappointing experience, I wouldn't recommend them.

This has not been a good start to our Uni.year,as we do not have all the spare time during the day Mon-Fri to complain in person,or be in the flat,to see that the work is carried out.No messages are ever left,to let you know when or if they are going to appear.Maybe eventually their communication skills will improve and not so many things be faulty anymore!Oh by the way, the fault with the lift being broken,keeps you fit!This seems to happen on a frequent basis and has no notices put up to let you know.It's great fun lugging bags of heavy shopping up lots of flights of stairs. The same fault that was supposed to have happened down south with the lift/health and safety issue was not the case.So yet again it was just another ploy to put off time fixing it.
