Followed up about a month later as I hadn't heard back - Pat didn't recall the telephone conversation we had or the text message I had sent to his mobile. Resent the details of the works and tenant's name & number. Followed up about 2 weeks later - same story, Pat had no recollection of the phone calls or texts I had sent. Can't comment on the quality of work for obvious reasons, but attitude to work and potential customers wasn't great.

Met Seamus Allard at Millstreet home improvement Show on Saturday…read more He had befriended me on FB last week so this was a good chance to ask him for a refund of the €2000 he extorted from me 3 years ago for the installation of a wood pellett stove (found out later he knew NOTHING about it) Included in the fee was €800 for a ''remote control'' which never worked. Needless to say this caused me great stress and I had told him I was let down by a plumber and of course he took advantage of my vulnerable position. SEAI was to give me a grant for this but as Séamus Allard made a dogs dinner of the installation I didn't receive the grant=a loss of another €2,000. Several phone calls emails followed but NO JOY from Mr. Allard. So I had a little chat with him about it on Saturday and GUESS WHAT??? NO You guessed wrong,,,,....he told me to F..U..C..K off. I complained him to my dear friend Graham who asked him to apologise and he denied saying it even though I had a witness. At Graham's insistence, he eventually ,half-heartedly uttered a ''sorry''. Thought he could still bully me until a REAL MAN came to my aid. COMMENTS ? 1Like · · Stop Notifications · Share · Promote

Well lit, well laid out with headers on the aisles and their prices are far better than the boxes (Woodies, B&Q etc.). Their Waterford Stanley cooker showroom is awesome and they have a good size paint department and will mix any colour you need. They cut keys too I think. Car park is large and free thankfully. Pity they don't open Sunday but they are open all day Saturday unlike most of the other hardware shops in Ennis. One small gripe is you have to queue for service at the trade counter but I believe there is an express checkout on the way soon. All in all a good experience and the staff know what they're on about.
