The rest of my group was not thinking sandwiches but I sure was, and when we came upon Twiny I convinced them to wait a minute while I ordered me a Salami Sandwich. This was a very tasty baguette sandwich that was toasted and had lettuce, tomato, onion, and a sauce that was a mixture of mayo, mustard, and herbs. This is a takeaway place only, no seating. The sandwich was in a plastic wrapper to make it easy for me eat while still on the move. We went to twinys looking for quick bite to eat under $20 and it was a hard search unfortunately (we were tired of quick meals at coop and migros). And twinys really came to our rescue. It's a food stand so everything there is to go and there is no where to sit. The staff was very friendly, one of my friends had a food allergy and they had no issues whatsoever adjusting his sandwich accordingly. I got the chicken sandwich, their staple sandwich and I was a big fan. Would recommend getting the twiny sauce and the garlic sauce as well. Was quite a flavorful sandwich and the staff even added extra pickles after I joked it. The bread is nice and crispy and the chicken came out hot. My friends loved their salami sandwich. I would note that the sandwiches can be a bit messy, we had a few bread crumbs and pieces of lettuce fall out while eating and the sauce does start to drip. We ended up coming back for more sandwiches later in our trip as our go to quick eat spot that is inexpensive. If you are looking for a bite without spending a fortune in Lucerne would recommend a visit!

It came in a bun with a hole in it and the guy asked (and gestured, since I couldn't speak the language) if I wanted ketchup and mustard to which I nodded yes. This was a very tasty sausage with a bit of a spicy kick to it. The sausage itself was hearty and had a nice char on the outside and the bun was nice and soft. Total was 8.80 CHF and it hit the spot! Will probably get this again on my way out of Zurich!
