Whether at 6th Street or on Barton Springs road, I've been enjoying Kebabalicious ever since I moved to Austin years ago. Since those days, it looks like the menu has expanded by a lot. I still go with the King Beef & Lamb wrap, Spicy with whatever the original sauces are. That definitely hits all the right spots. King for me is large enough to last two meals but I'm not a heavy eater. Check in on Yelp (at the time of this review) to get a free soda. Can't complain. The inside is pretty small but decent seating space on the patio outside. Play some ping pong outside or just chill and enjoy east side vibes. The food is actually fantastic and great. The only reason it gets a 3 is because the potions are very small. Recently today I got a rice bowl and got through it in about 3 or 4 bites. For $15 that's not acceptable. I have to cook extra this evening since I'm still hungry. I'm not a big eater either. On their website it says the reason they provide small portions is to provide value. They claim the higher costs are due to paying their staff, inflation, and getting the right ingredients. It was a fluffy bed of rice covered with beef/lamb gyro meat, white and red (medium spice) sauce and, I think the best part, tomato and chickpea salad mix! Altogether each bite had a mix of textures and flavors. Crisp tomatoes and onions + fluffy rice + creamy sauce + meat = bueno! I'm a serious foodie. I spent many hours researching where to eat for my return trip to Austin. This was a delicious and happy "accident" and one of the top places that I ate at in Austin. My girlfriend was craving gyros/kebab cuisine so I looked up what was nearby our Sonder. Kebabalicious was nearby so we decided to give it a try. We both ordered the Spoiled Brat. It ended up being one of the best meals that we ate. It was so fun to eat on their patio and to people watch. For example, a fire truck pulled up and the firemen ordered food. The owners were absolutely gracious. They enthusiastically helped us to understand the menu. The complimentary cucumber and lemon water was so delicious. When I return to Austin, this place will absolutely be on my list. I cannot recommend it more. read more

I came in here around 9:30pm on a Thursday. I was starving so I went for the plate of Char Chicken which is basically pieces of chicken breast seasoned and grilled. You can put that on top of rice vegetables and some spices and boom you got yourself a very delicious late dinner. I also ordered a side of hummus with olives and cucumber which was super duper delicious. My brother got the wrap and looked and tasted super amazing. I honestly lost track of time and all of the sudden I see myself with an empty bowl. I must have been super hungry or the food must have been scrumptious or BOTH!! Seriously recommend this place if you're in the area. They certainly know how to cook some authentic middle eastern dishes. I have been wanting to try this place for over a year, so to tell you I was excited is an understatement. My friends and I went and each got a chicken wrap, falafel plate, hummus, sweet potato fries and the k-fries! I loved it all! The wrap was huge (we really should have all just shared), and the meat had so much flavor! They have vegan alternatives for some of their sauces which is so helpful for me as I can't have dairy! The falafel was packed with flavor, crispy and definitely did not disappoint. The K-fries were SO GOOD!! Personally I like extra sauce so next time I go I would just ask for a little extra to make sure it covers all the fries at the bottom! All the portions were large and you will have plenty of food with any of the items we tried. They have the outdoor area covered with a tent and with some heaters to help with the cold temps recently. Pretty fresh and healthy tasting ingredients. I had the beef and lamb rice bowl. With Taziki and spicy red sauce. At a medium spicy, which I later regretted, should of gone with Maximum spicy, but medium had some kick to it. The rice bowl comes with tomatoes, onions, chickpeas, and surprisingly first time with some almond, and cilantro. The bites with almond crunch was interesting but works very well, never would of thought of adding that in to a kebab bowl. Decent amount of meat and overall food amount if you are hungry, but not overly like you're starving. Meat was not dried like most places. Once you mix all the sauce, all the flavors works together. Price was around $10, so on the more pricey side. Service was quick and they get the food out to you pretty quick. There is also a back outside patio, which they will also bring the food out to you. Freezing cold if you are sitting inside to eat. Some beer can selections, but I did not try. Would recommend trying if you are in the area and want a quick fix. read more

Kebabalicious is arguably the best sandwich you can get in the city, so long as you consider a wrap a sandwich (believe me this is more contentious at my work place than you would think...). This location has a lot more options than their food truck so took me by surprise to see additional choices. If you're average hungry, my go to is still the beef and lamb wrap with spicy red and tzatziki, which is a perfectly spiced wrap of meat, coolness and heat that is all balanced out. If you're really hungry, I say get the spoiled brat. It's expensive but it'll let you sample everything and make you super full to boot. The fries here are also really good - I love the ones with the spicy sauce and feta personally. The space itself is small on the inside but they have some outdoor seating around the building that is suitable. The wraps are very big though. Like, really big. The falafel is supposedly better than at other halal places, but I'm not a fan of falafel in general, so I got a chicken wrap. Tried this kebabalicious location after a night at the winter wonderland. I went with my family and we ordered some appetizers and multiple kebabs. I got the regular sized "The Rustic" and the K fries. The rustic had roasted brussel sprouts and skirt steak all wrapped with fresh spring mix, tomatoes and onions. Pricing was very reasonable and you can easily feed yourself with one kebab for less than 10 dollars. There were no complaints here, but if you're starving then upgrading to the king size is a good idea. The taste was really good and honestly one of the best kebabs i ever eaten, my boyfriend like santorinis kebabs more but i'm indifferent, they both taste delicious. The fries were just okay though. I don't make a special effort to go here, and if I were to make a special effort to get this sort of food, I generally think I prefer Abu Omar on Guadalupe. I ate here last night (not my first time) and this time chose to get the "rice bowl" or whatever they call it. The food was fine, but they put down like a wax paper sheet or something like that into the plastic container and then out the rice and everything else on top of that, and it makes no sense to me. The paper ends up getting soggy and starts to tear as you're trying to eat and then gets mixed in with your food. They really shouldn't do this, and I can't think of any logical reason why they did. This was my first time getting a rice bowl, I usually get a wrap.
