I first visited this restaurant when they opened in 2016. A decade later, I happened to be visiting the area and stopped off here for lunch with my boyfriend. I can honestly say this place hasn't lost their touch. The restaurant is dark and cozy with a fireplace in the back, making it a perfect spot for a romantic dinner or nice lunch. The servers are all well-versed in the menu items and oyster selection. The restaurant usually has some great specials that are always worth trying out. This visit was somewhat brief so we only got mains. The special of the day was swordfish. They offer the option to choose your prep style so we each got the swordfish; I tried the lemon butter sauce and my boyfriend got the red pepper sauce. Both were perfectly prepared and delicious. We also shared a side of the grilled asparagus which was perfectly cooked. A solid 10/10. Highly recommended for any foodies as this place also has some fantastic non-seafood options. read more

I had been meaning to try Kee's Oyster House for a long time based on their high ratings, but after finally visiting last night, I left disappointed. ​Atmosphere ​The restaurant is nicely designed, yet it strangely lacks ambiance and it was half full. There was either no music playing or it was so quiet that we couldn't hear it. The atmosphere felt sterile, further emphasized by the staff. Our waiter did not introduce himself or offer a greeting; he simply asked, "Still or sparkling water?" As I observed the room, I noticed that not a single staff member offered a smile or a friendly gesture. The entire team appeared visibly unhappy, and every interaction felt purely transactional, devoid of any genuine customer service. ​The Good: Appetizers ​The appetizers were the highlight of the meal. We enjoyed both the raw oysters and the Oysters Rockefeller. The raw oysters had a perfect balance of brininess and sweetness, and the Rockefeller was cooked perfectly with a creamy spinach sauce so good that we were tempted to order a second round. ​The Bad: Main Entrees ​Unfortunately, this is where Kee's fell short. My wife ordered the salmon, and when she asked about the preparation, the waiter brusquely informed her it is only served medium-rare, offering no room for preference. When she asked what side it came with, he gave her a pretentious, disdainful look and stated that they are an à la carte restaurant. She was forced to order a $14 side of poorly constructed, bitter onions and potatoes. While the salmon itself was flavorful, a restaurant charging 6-7 times the cost of ingredients needs to provide an experience that justifies the premium. ​My seafood risotto was equally disappointing. The portion size was shockingly small--containing only three baby scallops and four baby shrimp. Kee Oyster House is very nicely designed with an elegant bar and a bistro like vibe. Very comfortable and inviting. We went here for our anniversary which was on our reservation and also mentioned to the waiter who was professional but not overly engaged. Food was okay. Grilled oysters didn't really appear grilled and were tiny. Our entrees, a lobster roll again very small and not really flavorful although my vongole had decent flavor and seasoning. Dessert of Tiramisu and Key Lime Pie were underwhelming. Being in the business at five star hotels and dining I was surprised and no acknowledgement of our anniversary and the tiny gesture of picking up a cappuccino. We would like to come back so I hope they re visit flavor and portion sizes and level up the service. It has the potential to be a winner in Westchester. read more

Very nice place. The interior, including the rest room, is in very good shape. The service was very smooth. The food was very good as well. Check out my photo of the scallops appetizer. Very good, and presentation was gorgeous. I wasn't crazy about the fish taco appetizer, though a colleague liked them. My colleagues got the strip steak with Chimichurri and liked it a lot. I was jealous of them, as my Miso Cod (a special of the day) looked kind of boring, but it was actually very good, and so soft (and completely de-boned). Came to Kee oyster house on a random Saturday around lunchtime without reservations and did not have to wait. There were plenty of metered street parking in White Plains. The ambiance was nice, quiet, and sophisticated. Our server was very polite and efficient at taking our orders. The food took awhile to come out, I think it might just be the vibe of this kind of upscale restaurants to give people lots of time for conversation. We got the oyster Rockefeller, which was pretty good. We also got the brie cauliflowers and seafood risotto and pork chop, everything was very good, on par with what one would expect in this kind of restaurant. Aries birthday celebrations continued this last Saturday evening, 30th March, at the fabulous KEE Oyster House in White Plains. Upon entering we were warmly greeted and taken care of the entire time. I haven't been here in a while pre-Covid I should say, but I had come in this restaurant opened and I have to happily say it is the first restaurant in a while that has not let me down with it standards. The service was the waiters were kind on point ready to listen explain services with a smile and of course they're exceptional food. When I say this is a place I look forward to coming to. I am not exaggerating and I am so pleased oyster special with caviar to be lobster perfectly cooked and ready to eat and my Bronzino was just New England. I'll start with the service. It was very exceptional and I loved how attentive they were to us. As we came in, one of the waitresses brought us to a table all the way in the corner, which was not the most appealing spot. Another waiter saw the looks on our faces and gave us another table, which was so much better. They were very kind and understanding of all the questions we had regarding the food. For the food, it was okay. Nothing special. We got the raw seafood tower and it was good, but definitely not worth the price. I would say they could've added a lot more to the tower. I made a review here 8 years ago. The menu has changed a bit but it's still serving excellence. If you're looking for very fresh seafood options, Kee oyster house is the place. I've been here a few times and the oysters are super fresh with a variety of East/west coast options. I also approve of the limp crab meat cocktail which I don't find often at other seafood rests. I usually always get the linguine with clam sauce (white) and it's an easy chef kiss . Always fresh, with the perfect amoint of season. The New England clam chowder is a level up from your typical NECC. I recommend this place for a special occasion as it is pricey but worth it. My first experience at Kee's was four star, only because it was lunch with a consumption of fhe seafood tower, great choice. Second was a Saturday night dinner. This was a five star rating for sure. Had the 2-1/2 lb. lobster. Presentation was great. Lobster was cooked to perfection. Came out clean and prestine. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal and night. That's why I had to have that lobster for my birthday, which fell on a Thursday. Don't know if that made a difference but I don't want to think it did, so I ordered the 2-1/2 lb lobster again, expecting the same quality I had that Saturday night. Suffice to say it was a let down. I was looking forward to writing a review of this place, but then I realized I didn't take a lot of pictures! Ugh! Well, that happens when you're having a good time. Keep reading for my review on the seafood tower, fish tacos, cheesecake, and Gin Martini. The seafood tower was delish! It is 3 levels, lower one for oysters only, middle for toppings and the third one has lobster and shrimp. Its a perfect choice to start with, if you are sharing it with someone. The fish tacos , were a great size! And had plenty of fish in them! The cheesecake was actually really good, light and creamy, not heavy or dense very smooth and perfectly lightly sweet. And finally, the gin martini. I ordered it dirty with plain olives and tbh I wish I had a 3rd one. This place is nicely designed and the service was very pleasant. The restrooms are clean and have the lighting every lady needs for a makeup touch-up. The only thing I would change of this place is the size, wish it was bigger. I went there yesterday for an unplanned lunch with my mother for the first time. It was so DEE-LICIOUS with very FRESH seafood!!! Our wonderful server was Valentino and everyone was very kind and attentive. The ambiance was very nice and everywhere was clean with just the right amount of St. Paddy Day decor, especially the nicely scented clean women's bathroom. We had the pre-loosened oyster Rockefeller (plump and fresh), seafood risotto (not fishy), skirt steak with chimichurri sauce, and the piece de resistance for me was the buffalo shrimp romaine wedge salad because "extras" were a la carte so I chose this instead of a side but that salad was divine. The shrimp was cooked just right and the buffalo sauce with blue cheese crumble made it over the top. My only other things to add was that there were some pieces of oyster shells that I ended up biting on so that was a bit unpleasant so be careful when eating and the price is not for the faint of heart for a "simple" lunch but overall, my mother and I enjoyed our lunch and we would definitely go back. read more

What a gem! Came here and the ambiance is very similar to a lowkey steakhouse. My husband and I came for lunch and decided it was a treat yourself day and Kee didn't disappoint. We started with grilled and raw oysters. We shared a buffalo shrimp wedge salad and I got the black miso cod and my husband the skirt steak and we split a side of fries. When I say everything was absolutely delicious, I'm not exaggerating. The cod was perfectly cooked and flavorful. The skirt steak wasn't chewy and just melted in our mouth. The wedge salad was a sleeper that I didn't expect to love so much but wow. Everything was amazing and our server was attentive, polite and kind. 10/10 and we will definitely be back. Kee Oyster House is easily one of the best seafood restaurants in Westchester County. We had a wonderful Thursday night dinner where every section ordered was a true winner. We started with the Raw Tower for two. An excellent selection of clams on the half shell, crab meat cocktail, shrimp cocktail, lobster tail, and incredible oysters - the best we've tasted in quite some time. We then stayed with three additional starters which turned out to be a great decision on our part. The Fish Tacos (3 - salmon, chipotle, pico de gallo) were freshly fantastic. Not to be redundant but - again - the best in a while. The calamari (perfectly crispy with slightly spicy chili aioli) and Tuna Tartare pleased us to no end. This afternoon my Son and I decided to try Kee for dinner. The atmosphere in the restaurant is pleasant, and it is nicely decorated. It is divided into two areas - 1 the bar and the other dining tables. The tables, in fact, were so large that sitting across from each other, it was difficult for my Son and me to converse. We arrived around 5:00 and didn't have reservations. I didn't think the host was going to seat us because he said they were fully booked. However, not only did he manage to seat us, during the 2 1/2 hours we were there, the restaurant was busy, but not completely full. They call this place an oyster house, but it is really just a regular seafood restaurant. There were 3 or 4 choices of East Coast, and I didn't ask about the West Coast, but that still doesn't really make it an oyster house. The name is misleading. The service overall was very good. The food was disappointing to the point where I would never return. This place is very overpriced for the quality of food. We ordered a bottle of French Bordeaux Grave, which was okay but nothing to write home about. For appetizers my Son had Baked Clams and I had Oysters on the half shell. My Son enjoyed the clams, but my 6 Wellfleet oysters were disappointing. Although they tasted okay, they were rather small and stringy with inedible membrane. Not much of that appetizer got into my stomach. The Wellfleet oysters I ate in the past were usually very good. The sauce served with it was good. It was in one container, while horseradish was in another. Servings like that for those small oysters was rather laughable - nice presentation, but no substance. For the main course we ordered boiled lobster and creamed spinach . My Son got through his lobster, but mine was so tough that it was not chewable. Very little of that got into my stomach - a total waste of money ($60). In all my life, it was the worst lobster I have ever been served. I also didn't like the fact that they chopped it into pieces prior to serving. I like to work with my own lobster. That is part of the enjoyment of eating it. The flavor of the creamed spinach was good, but it also was stringy and hard to chew ($14). We didn't finish it. If it weren't for the dessert, I would have left that restaurant hungry after spending all that money. We both had creme brulee with 1 strawberry, and it was quite good. A mistake was made on our order but we received a slice of cheesecake on the house! My tacos were amazing! The Bronzino was juicy , lacked seasoning but was acceptable. The cheesecake was not the best but still very tasty. My cocktail of choice was Kee Fresh Cosmo, I enjoyed sweet yet bitter at the same time. I came with my friends and I didn't make any reservation so we sat outdoor. I would say the outdoor ambiance was C, service was C+ and food was B. Outdoor seating was simple and next to the street parking. The establishment didn't put too much effort on the outdoor dinning as there was lots of mosquitos and they didn't try to decorate outside. It would've nice if they added some candle light or add a partition between our dinning area and the street parking. At the same time, there was short of staffs to serve outside. The waiter was friendly, but the service was slow. We needed water or condiments (crusted pepper, black pepper, shedded cheese, etc) on several occasions and it was hard to find him. We ordered the hot tower, Bbq chicken, veal chop, Linguini Fra Diavolo, and Linguine with white clam sauce. Hot tower was fresh, but some of the items were salty. The creamy seafood platter was very salty but it was savory. I wish the waiter could give us a little more bread so it can subside the saltiness of the dish. I do not think it was worth for the price. Bbq chicken and the veal chop were good, tender and savory. I believed they used organic free range chicken. These were my favorite dishes from Kee Oyster House. Linguini Fra Diavolo, and Linguine with white clam sauce- both pasta dishes were a little bit cold, but had a good taste. I was disappointed with the Linguini Fra Diavolo as it did not have any spicy taste. Most of the version of Fra Diavolo sauce has chili peppers and garlic; this version had lack of these components and it should not be called Fra Diavolo. All dishes didn't come with a side or any garnishment. So everything look so simple. Therefore they didn't have any presentation elements to make it visualize delicious. If you come to this restaurant, I recommend the bbq chicken, the veal chop and wine bar. read more

Love the sauce, but the shrimps was a bit bitter. Tuna- portion was surprising bigger. But it looks plain. Should work on some garnishing. I was in White Plains for work and found this restaurant on Yelp. It has an awesome happy hour special- every day from 4:00 to 7:00, Oysters are $1 each at the bar. This applied only to Blue Point Oysters the day I was there. There are also drink specials. I did what any rational person would do. Sensing a good deal, I immediately went to the bar, ordered beer and a dozen blue Point Oysters. After finishing those, I ordered a half dozen Doxbury Oysters, which were even better (brinier and tastier). Those cost $2.50 each, which is still a good deal to me. The ambience is casual and quiet. There was not a lot of noise or annoying chatter at the bar. I was able to relax at the bar and read the Times on my phone. If I had more time and did not have to work the next day, I would have stayed longer and had a few more beers. read more
