Short walk to a board walk that a nice bathroom, showers, water refill station and even a dog bathing area. Very impressive! Short walk to the water. It's was low tide so plenty of beach to walk on. Headed down to the end on the right side about 1 1/2 mile walk. Saw two dolphins and rare birds that were migrating. Off the tide is in the beach area to seat on will be limited. Great place to walk your dog and ride your bike.

Geoff is very patient and really helped us get the hang of things We caught some red fish and trout and some small shark (which were a ton of fun to catch). Capt. Geoff was happy to help out with our casting and offered tips when we were fighting the bigger fish. His boat and the gear he provides are excellent. Very high quality stuff. Highly recommend booking a charter especially if you would like to see a new side to the lowcountry. His rates are very competitive. I would absolutely use Geoff for another charter (and probably will when I go back to Charleston in January).

It was my first time kayaking in costal waters but I felt very comfortable with our guide. She was very familiar with the waterways and educated on the local wildlife. The tour was amazing! We had perfect weather, calm water, and several site points. It was cool seeing the pluff mud marshes up close! Please note: COA is located off Folly Rd which happens to be a main road to Folly Beach. Thankfully I did the 9:00am slot, because there was bumper to bumper traffic along Folly Rd by the time the tour ended around 11:30pm.
