The realtor at Bay South basically tried to make me believe that paying $50k more would be worth it. They do not do their homework and can hardly ever answer your questions without "having to get back to you." Needless to say I got a bigger place for less money in a better area and I got top dollar for my old place. Do yourself a favor and pass by this place because they are not about business.

I knew I was coming back but didn't have a clue what living options were available. I had briefly met Romula through friends and simply reached out to her on a whim. Immediately, I was "flooded" with leads on living spaces that in all areas of Uptown New Orleans and Metairie. I hadn't even thought of the options "in the 'burbs". As it turned out there was more "bang for my buck" out there. I credit Romula for addressing my needs and finding areas that I would never have reviewed. Still, Romula's service did not stop there. So I have "leads", but what does that mean? I recall Romula setting aside time to go over the options and breakdown each with an eye of an insider. We even visited a couple places together and on those visits I got to see what it was like to work face to face with this Realty Goddess. I felt she was genuine and honest - very honest. She didn't allow me to settle for what looked good. She asked me a lot of questions that made me assess what it was I really wanted in my new living space. I was there a year and a half and the whole time something was always broken. Some of the crappiest customer service ever. Dorothy is one of the rudest women I've dealt with. They told me my rent would be prorated to move out and are trying to strong arm an extra 150 bucks out of me. They didn't do anything to help fix that place when it was broken and I would never rent from these scumbags again. They are inconsiderate and do not produce livable conditions and will not work to make it livable. The worst people to rent from!

tried to rent from them, paid a 700$ deposit and a 200$ pet deposit on a place i wasn't allowed to…read morego into. but had good faith in them. asked when we could move in but was told the place had to be painted and cleaned. i called and kept in touch but they would never tell me a move in date. then Dorathy (the lady i was dealing with) told us one thing, and her boss another. when they did finally call us we were told it would be another 900$ to move in. with 11 days left in the month they would not pro-rate the rent. two days prior to this i had called them with the rent in hand but they couldn't give me a date, so i had to pay on our current apartment. so when they finally did call i asked for them to set it up for the first, and was told "we have other people looking to move in there sir. we can't hold it for you." even after i had paid my deposit the boss lady is trying to strong arm me. so i asked for our deposit back and was told we had to wait. worst business skills EVER. do not rent from them. run, run fast.
