The best dentist I have ever had! I've been going to him for over 5 years now. Dr. Bracy takes the time to explain what the issues are and what he is doing at every step. He never appeared rushed or tried to sell me unnecessary whitening services as other dentists do. He truly cares! The office is pristine-clean and comfortable. Jonathan, his assistant was attentive and made sure I was comfortable. I like being able to watch Netflix to distract me during the time I'm in the chair. During Covid they were extra careful with air purifiers in the room, they checked my temperature upon entering and they all wore masks. I felt very safe. I saw Dr Bracy because I had developed TMJ and had read that the first step I needed to take was to get a mouth guard to stop any grinding or clenching that I was most likely doing in my sleep. I live in LA and didn't have a dentist in NY. I found Dr Bracy based on his location near to where I stay and read positive yelp reviews. I made an appointment and got fitted for a night guard. Dr Bracy was great. The office staff are sweet and the place is immaculately clean. Dr Bracy is so kind, approachable and attentive that it made me wish that I lived in NY so that he'd be my dentist! As someone who has gotten used to average teeth cleanings, I've grown accustomed to mediocrity. There is nothing average or mediocre about Dr. Bracy. The second I walked into the office, I could tell this cleaning was going to be different. The office is so clean, up to date, and the windows overlook Fifth Avenue! I'm used to a ten minute cleaning with a hygienist and am lucky if I see the actual Dentist for five minutes. Dr. Bracy did a comprehensive exam and did the cleaning himself with the help of his amazing assistant Marlene. I've never in my life had such a thorough cleaning. He was very warm, approachable, and was checking in to make sure I was comfortable. Which I most definitely was. I highly recommend Dr. Bracy and his office. I am generally distrustful to downright fearful when I go to the dentist. On recommendation from a friend, I went to see him. It had been many years since I had been to the dentist, but he was not the least bit judgmental. He did a complete cleaning, including x-rays, and discussed what was going on. I returned two more times to have cavities filled, and unlike my memories of the dentist, this was totally uneventful. In truth, if he hadn't of asked me from time to time how I was doing, I probably would have fallen asleep, I was so relaxed. He was timely, thorough, and extremely professional. I appreciated his explanation of every procedure and his gentle approach. Dr. Bracy has been my dentist for almost a year now and I'm very happy with the progress we've made. I'm working on getting an Invisalign and he has been great! He's professional and personable; I highly recommend new patients to go to him. You can also tell that he's passionate about what he does. I'm not particularly a difficult patient but I do want the best for my teeth; Dr. Bracy doesn't limited his services. He is willing to answer any of my questions and perfect any discomfort I may have with my teeth. On top of that, the office is clean and the staff is super friendly. Also, very easy to make an appointment. I've never had to sit and wait because Dr. Bracy schedule his patient one at a time. Most practices can't offer you that luxury. Having a dental office in NYC must be one tough thing, as there must be tens of dentistries within a mile radius. But out of several dentists I've had in the city, I can tell Dr. Bracy is the best by far. The first thing you will notice is probably how personable Dr. Bracy is. He will make sure you feel comfortable during your visit. On my previous visit, I was late to my appointment because of horrible traffic, but he didn't mind staying late (since I was his last patient of the day). During my oral exam, cleaning, or other procedure (I made a night guard), he was explaining what he was doing step by step to assure me everything was fine. I thought this was really helpful since I had wondered before what dentists were doing. Last but not least, Dr. Bracy has been very approachable. I saw Dr. Bracy several times in his old location on 5th avenue. I hadn't had a cavity in 33 years of my life, and he discovered my first two (hopefully last two). For whatever reason I was freaking out, but he reassured me and the filling procedure went through smoothly. He didn't stop adjusting until my bite felt natural. It's been a couple of years since then and I haven't had any problems. I've come in for a cleaning a few more times after that (probably should be more frequent - and his email reminders do help) and I've had nothing but good experiences. Dr. Bracy helped me achieve a new, white smile! I had been putting off going to the dentist for several years and decided to try him, after meeting him in my gym class. I started off with all the basics like cleanings, X-rays and exams but also had some cosmetic concerns. Everything has been great so far. Manhattan has a lot of dentists and I seem to have tried many of them but finally found a winner with Dr. Bracy! Dr. Bracy has a great chair side manner which makes me feel at ease in the chair. Nothing that he did hurt, it was very gentile. He was extremely knowledgeable when I asked him about options to improve my smile explaining the differences between veneers, Invisalign and implants (all of which he does!). Scheduling an appointment was a breeze. His office and staff were very warm and inviting, I only waited about 5 minutes in the waiting room before being called back.
