When giving needles she is very gentle and as scared as we all were of needles i can honestly say she is so gentle you never really feel them. My children are grown now but I have followed and stayed a patient of this lady all these yrs because when you are under her care your not just a patient she makes you feel like a friend and everyone can do with feeling that way when there unwell or troubled. I was referred to Natalie Boulter at Park Road, who was incredibly relatable and used helpful techniques. She was kind and open, and always strove to make me feel comfortable straight away. She never pressured me to go back for follow up appointments or talk about anything that I felt uncomfortable discussing. The building itself looks almost otherworldly from the outside - it's a terrace house painted completely dark purple. But when you enter, the extravagant colour choice makes sense. The first thing I noticed was the flooring: black and white tiles that made the converted house resemble a giant chessboard. The clinic has a very feminine vibe; you'll find fancy upholstered furniture, and a gorgeous old bathroom with Aesop products inside. Most of the psychologists were women, but I saw plenty of male patients (even some tradie looking types) who looked comfortable in the surrounds too. The receptionists are all stunning young women who are lovely, professional, and constantly offering top ups of tea or coffee. There is also a dish of Allen's lollies at the desk (very important), a good stack of reading material, and a play area filled with toys for the children of patients and child patients.
