We came to have breakfast after church and normally we have gotten good meals at this location hit we were disappointed today. My hubby enjoyed his pancakes-which are huge-and sausage and scrambled eggs. I had the scramble bowl and was not happy and didn't finish my meal. The potatoes were not thoroughly cooked and were extremely greasy. The eggs had no taste at all. It was the same for my dad's wrap. My mom got the cheesy grits but they came overcooked and all congealed and her potatoes were the same-undercooked and greasy. Our server gave us refills and listened to our comments but nothing was done so I know the comments didn't make it to a manager or the kitchen. The location was super busy and it was clean but our booth was super tight for all of us as we squeezed in. There are a lot of breakfast restaurants so I probably won't visit this place again soon. Food is great, but they can never seem to get the AutoCorrect omelette to be wrong. You gotta be careful specially if you're allergic to certain things, I've ordered three times from them and the last three times they've gotten it wrong. Very good food good service something's going on. read more

We've been to Keke's several times now and it's always been good. We stopped in recently on a Monday AM for breakfast. We were greeted right away and shown to a comfortable booth. The place wasn't very crowded for breakfast. Service was great - coffee and water refills kept coming and checked on often, without being pestered. They have an extensive menu for both breakfast and lunch, so lots of good options. The food and coffee were both great. read more

I enjoy Greek omelettes and idk what kind of feta they use but it always tastes so fresh. Good coffee & they have morning cocktails too:) We've recently gone & ordered lunch & loved it. It doesn't matter if its the two of us or the entire gang dining we ALL agree this is our favorite Cafe in all of Sarasota County. Located in a beautiful newer shopping area, and newly remodeled this spot is fresh, bright, light and represents the Sunshine State proudly. Immaculate, with a very friendly staff and a delicious menu to fill even the pickiest of eaters. When you arrive be sure to ask for our favorite Server Helen. Our food is always delivered hot, just as we ordered and so very very good! Helen makes our dining experience wonderful, with her quick wit and big smile! She treats us like family and we love her!! We also love her hubby Jim who greets everyone like they are his long lost friends. I don't know the name of the host, but I will find out next time I am in because he is just as nice to us too. Great place for breakfast. My only complaint is they don't serve grits. I generally order the breakfast specials. My favorite is one huge pancake (not many people can finish two or three of these) with bacon and eggs. I'm very surprised by some of the poor reviews. This place is fantastic.   It has become my 3rd favorite breakfast place in the SRQ / Bradenton area. The 2 things that make Keke's so great are their willingness to make anything on the menu to your liking and how everything always comes out hot.  The banana - chocolate chip waffle which isn't listed on the menu is amazing. The waffle was soft (never over done) with a huge ring of whipped cream around the border and what appeared to be a whole sliced banana across the top.  When I request crispy bacon, that is how it comes out, nice and crispy. I've had a number of things here and have been extremely happy with everything except the tuna melt.  I mentioned this to the waitress and she explained that their tuna melt is made dry which explained why I wasn't a fan.   Please note that on popular breakfast mornings (especially Sundays) there can be a wait for seating. Give Keke's a try.  I am sure you will Love it. read more

Very disappointing experience!!!! I'm on Keto (no carbs), and while the server was nice about it, she said that Keke's didn't allow substitutions, I would have to pay additional to swap out the toast and potatoes for fruit, etc. I've been to the Breakfast Company, Another Broken Egg Café, Skillets, The Granery, to name a few in the same Lakewood Ranch area, and NOT ONE of these restaurants had any up charge!!!!! I had the scrambler bowl and asked for the potatoes to be extra crispy and added ham. The potatoes weren't crispy and they forgot the ham but that's okay. Great little breakfast chain/cafe in the area. Have been here twice now and everything I have ordered is delicious. My favorites have been the build your own omelets and the turkey club. Both times I have visited this place did not disappoint. The prices for their extensive menu are also very reasonable and the portions are nice.
