I have done business with David Pilon, of this office. He was quite resourceful when it came to finding just the right buyer and also the right contractors to help with moving, as it was a time sensitive situation. He also found an amazing condo to purchase, which was transacted on the same day that the sale went through. More than once, he mentioned the Farmington office "Keller Williams team" as a his secret to success. There seems to be a positive and youthful vibe surrounding this office, and I bet they will continue to outperform for new clients. read more

I'd never recommend any renter or landlord to work with this person. She scheduled me for showing a unit at 4pm, and at 3.30pm she notified me that she would be running little late. That is why I didn't rush and arrived the complex at 4.06pm. When I gave her a call, she said "she already left for another appointment, she has no time to wait". I asked her that if you make an appointment with someone you should have expected to be with me, showing the house till 4.30pm. How come you could leave in 6 min? this is not professional. if your time is valuable, so does mine. I drove all the way to here by leaving my work earlier and she didn't even meet me. She had no answer to my question. I asked her to come back but she never did. She hang off the phone. I kept calling her. She even rejected few times. Then, she said "sorry we signed a contract, it is not available" This person has no professional responsibility, no respect for the customers. read more

Carole King was our realtor and she is AMAZING. We were first time home buyers and she helped us every step of the way, from a list of recommended inspectors to sending us reminders as due dates approached. She worked around our crazy schedules, from meeting us to view houses before 8am, to phone calls to walk us through the purchase contract at 11pm, and was easy to communicate with via phone, text, or email. We had some specific garage requirements we wanted, and Carole learned to open up the garage first thing for us at each viewing (so thoughtful!). We ended up falling in love with a house that was an estate sale involving multiple lawyers (very difficult) and she stayed on top of the other realtor to move things along. Even after the closing she followed up to get the extra garage remotes for us, and texted us to make sure things were going well. While she is a busy woman and you might see her texting or making herself reminders frequently (which did not bother us one bit), she never once dropped the ball on us and in fact was more on top of stuff than we were, and we only had one house we were interested in and I'm sure she was managing multiple! Carole King is absolutely INCREDIBLE. We would definitely recommend her to everyone. read more

My husband and I were extremely displeased with our realtor from a Keller Williams office on Hopmeadow Rd. in Simsbury and were told that we could NOT get out of our contract, but would be happy to refer us to another realtor.. Not a good way to do business forcing a client to remain under contract with a company you are very unhappy with. Our "new" realtor was Carole King. We had listed our house initially the beginning of March 2013 with Patti Maulucci and Carole was referred to us as the "star" realtor with an impeccable sales track record. I initially met with Carole the beginning of May to sign new paperwork with her. She was in and out of our house in less than 20 minutes, walkthrough and all!! After researching her listings and history, I saw she had a huge number of listings and sales and wondered how one person could handle such a large work load. I was impressed initially and thought this was a good exchange. As time went on I began to think differently. Basically Carole put the listing on the MLS and that was that. Just like our first realtor, no marketing strategy as requested or plan of any kind to sell our home. Time was of the essence since we had a Hubbard and contract on another home. It became clear quickly she basically handles most of her business through emails and text messages, period. That is how our listing was handled, sadly. We had our share of harsh words during the time our house was for sale and I expressed my unhappiness with the non-personal way our communications were on more than one occasion. When I listened to the negative statements about our home and what it "didn't" have which was not what a listing agent should be about, I knew she was not working on our behalf at all. It was very apparent that since our home was listed in the mid $400's, this meant a nice commission for both her, Keller Williams and the buyers agent. She should have been trying to market the positives (and there were many), after all, isn't that her job?? I will say she is prompt on picking up her phone right away but was equally as eager to get OFF the phone. Our home finally sold months later after 3 price reductions which we felt were a result of a very mismanaged, under marketed listing that didn't go well from day one. I wondered if Carole would even be at the closing with her busy schedule. Yes, indeed she was. She was in the corner of the room... texting and/or emailing the entire time waiting for her commission check of $12,500, for doing what you ask? That's a good question. Texting and emailing doesn't come cheap today I guess. If you want personalized service, a real person, the old fashioned pick up the phone, keep you updated, pay a visit kind of realtor, MOVE ON. You won't find that in Carole King. Oh, just so you know... the VERY FIRST time my husband met Carole King WAS AT THE CLOSING!! NOT GOOD Carole!! What justifies these huge checks? My husband and I left the closing after seeing $22,500 go to two people who absolutely didn't earn that money, walk away. My response? There goes our new kitchen honey!! Sad in this day and age, that these huge commission checks are given to realtors like this who do not earn what they get. When you are considering an agent, ask what their method of communication is. That is a very important factor in choosing a realtor. I would NOT recommend Keller Williams or their agents to anyone, period. I'm all for fair pay for a fair days work, that was NOT the experience we had with Keller Williams when all was said and done. We prefer quality, not quantity. read more
