Here is our story: Our daughter (Bailey) & son in-law (Matt) were living in Texas as our son in-law is in the USAF. Matt had received transfer orders in September and needed to move/report to his new base. Patrick AFB, by October 5th. They basically had 2.5 weeks to get packed up in Texas and make their way to Florida and find a home to buy or rent. I live in Wisconsin and since Bailey & Matt were in Texas we knew finding them a house to buy, on short notice, would be a daunting if not impossible task. She had our entire route planned out each day and using a mapping app the travel from house to house went smoothly. I know Kellie personally, so I already knew she was very honest, organized, personable, great with time management, at ease when under pressure, excellent at negotiating, etc. -- All the qualities you hope to find in your real estate agent. I just never really expected that my husband and I would end up using her services, but we did! My husband and I were actually not looking for at home at all. We were very happy with our townhome and we were even planning on doing some fun remodeling projects in 2018. Unfortunately, Hurricane Irma came along and changed everything. Instead of looking at fun ideas for our kitchen remodel, I was now thrown into learning all about toxic mold, waiting for roof and exterior repairs, looking for someone to replace drywall, and making decisions on replacing our water damaged floors. Since my husband works in Afghanistan, I was stuck dealing with almost all of this post-hurricane decision making on my own and I felt like my life had kind of come to a standstill. Everything stopped. I was going nuts....Stressed beyond belief. I ended up confessing to Kellie that I was so incredibly overwhelmed with it all. She jokingly replied that she could solve most of my problems by just selling us a new house! She was able to get me in to see it the very next morning and, as soon as I walked in, I just knew it was meant to be. Small enough to suit our easy going and low maintenance lifestyle, but enough room to make our family feel completely comfortable. Kellie helped me take extra detailed photographs and videos to send my husband since he could not be here and she did such a good job at keeping him in the loop during the buying process. I wanted to be present during the inspection, so she stayed with me the whole time they they were in the home. She helped us to negotiate a good price, and she was extremely supportive all throughout the process. She was ahead of the game the entire time...I never really even had the need to ask any questions because she was so on top of everything. When little issues came up (as they always do), she knew just what to do and handled everything like a true expert. She knew it was important to me that everything go as smooth as possible because I wanted to close on the home at least a week before my husband arrived from Afghanistan for his break. She absolutely nailed it and I could not have been happier. Once this was all over, I told Kellie that I thought she was really meant to be a real estate agent.
