It does the job, but this week we've had to head to the laundromat with a TON of clothes. It was ok as far as clean goes (though it could have used some cleaning it wasn't horribly filthy). It's all coin operated, which is a bummer, the machines in our last town had ones you could do coin or use your debt/credit card in which REALLY simplified having to do a household of 7's laundry all in one day. There are coin exchangers (well, there were two, but one is out of order... which seems to be the theme of this laundromat!) The exchange did give accurate change for a $20 (will take all the way down to $1 bills, excluding $2 bills). Washers were efficient, though there are only 4 of the biggest washers available and they were in hot demand both times we were there. $6.75 as of this post for the larges washers and $5.25 for the next washer down... that's a LOT of quarters!!! The dryers... well, they left a LOT to be desired... Nearly, if not exactly, half of them were out of order!!! You can run the largest ones for 4 minutes per quarter, and they took $2-$2.50 per large load to dry (jeans took a bit more). but with all the machines being out of commission it made jockeying for a dryer a bit of a challenge. This location gets plenty of use, it was hopping both times we went there. I anticipate needing to go for a few more weeks yet too until our laundry room is put back together... if anything changes I will update... but for now, it does the job, but it's not a great experience. Next time I'm gonna do a little research and see if there is another place that might be a little easier to use. read more

Kelly Avenue Laundry and Second Avenue Laundry, sharing the same owner, are festering hellholes. The owner is evidently too tight with her mountains of quarters to allot some of them for new machinery, as a row of FIVE - ALL FIVE, machines on the rear side of the first row have been out of order for well over a year. Ownership needs to remove them or replace them! The chairs at both locations are horrifically uncomfortable, including the ones with hazardous cracked plastic which could easily crack a customer's buttock or leg and cause a nasty infection. Super clean place! Even the bathrooms were immaculate. My washer died and I needed to get laundry done before new machines were delivered. The place was immaculate!! The change machine accidentally shorted me 2 quarters and the lady working there gave me 2 quarters immediately. read more

The machines are outdated, the facilities are not kept well and the folding tables are propped up using various "legs". Only went cause I was in town for a quick rescue mission and needed to wash a couple loads. read more

Machines are maintained and labeled if out for service. Safe environment and vending machines work.

Saw great reviews online and was very disappointed. half the machines have out of order signs, the one working dryer I found broke halfway through drying my clothes and took my money. very overpriced also. do not recommend. read more

Coin-Op Laundry is a pretty nice laundromat if you're without a washer or dryer or have oversized bedding (King comforters, mattress pads, etc) to clean. My experience there was mostly nice. The worker was friendly and very helpful, even recommending machines that worked well and also letting me know which dryers to avoid since they didn't heat up well. There were only a few downsides to this location, being the overwhelming chemical smell inside the building, non-functional lobby TV, and broken vending machines. Ultimately my experience here was great and I would certainly recommend this place to others. read more

Place is quiet and somewhat clean: mold inside the machines where the detergent goes, the windows are filled with fingerprints and the tables aren't clean. I found this to be an unsupervised establishment with no understanding of the phrase customer service. Do not use this laundry if you value your clothes. They are completely unwilling to make things right when you have problems. read more

Done laundry here a few times. So far it's been basically clean not spotless mind you. Not very busy mid day on Tuesday and Wednesday lucky for me. Their big load washers do the job awesomely. So far had no problems with the people or the machines. read more

I was excited to try this place since my washer broke and can't be repaired until next week. I called to verify their services and then when I got there to drop my stuff off the employee ignored me and decided to take a smoke break even though it was obvious I was waiting to be helped. I waited for several minutes but she was too busy smoking and talking to a friend. read more

All the washers are always out of order, only the tiny washers and like 4 big washers are working and those are always taken up. Absolutely horrible business. Hey, it's coin operated laundry. What I can say is that all of the machines worked well and the place is clean. There's two tables where you can wait, read or work on a computer. Bathrooms are clean and there's a TV to watch as well. Still cheaper to stop by a convenience store for detergent. Don't forget to separate lights from color lest your clothes be stained, and check the machines for left behinds. ;)) read more

Just moved here and have been relying on yelper reviews of the places in town. Had to do laundry and this was the closest. This place is clean and so are the machines. Was able to do all my laundry and comforters too. The staff helped with showing me how to use the machines. I'd definitely be back! read more
