Horrible company I've already let my University know not to recommend this place to students and I'm sorry but having a medical emergency and your water tank bursting isn't something that anyone can control. But despite two documentations from the ER and my rental company I even offered to providethe documents and pictures has I have all photos time stamped is not good enough? I said excuse me she said do you have a certain certification and I said no but I have been importing containers from China Vietnam Taiwan Columbia Dominican Republic and exports to Sweden Puerto Rico and the Bahama's. And she said well you do not have this certification. I said I could get it. I said why did you waste your time having me drive 25 miles in each direction for this and I walked out. I would never use Mancan as a source of employment ever. It was very unproffessional on Mancan's abuse to a prospective employee.

After reviewing my skill set she offered me a prospective employment opportunity that had a specific starting rate and said that she would try to see if the client would go above that. I told her that would be great and if not then I would accept at the rate she quoted me. We also discussed my specific starting date, a weeks time. She informed me when I left that there would be specific documents that would be forwarded to me by email and that I would need to sign and return asap... so keep an eye out for them. She also did say that she would get back to me as soon as she heard something from the client. During and after the interview I was under the impression that I was to have gainful employment. At the close of the following day I still did not receive the e-docs and in the interim I had emailed and left her a voicemail in which she did not respond to either. The next day in the a.m. I finally did get a hold of her and she claimed that her assistant was not in the office and was trying to reach her (why didn't she just send the e-docs herself??) and that she hadn't heard anything from the client but assured me that either way she would get back to me before the close of day. Well, she never did, this was on a Friday. I reached out again on Monday, she was not available so I spoke to one of the other partners, Holly, who gave me a whole different story. The rate that the other partner Abby quoted was not the same as what this partner, Holly quoted, it was a few dollars less and I told her that is NOT what your partner Abby told me. Holly claimed that what she has stated was the going rate for the position and she also hadn't heard from the client yet either but would follow up and let me know when she heard anything. Low and behold, the very next day I get a voicemail from Holly stating she heard from the client and to call her back. This was at the close of day, I was unavailable so I returned the call first thing the following morning. She advised me that the client could not accept employment at the higher rate therefore she offered the job to someone else at the lowest rate. At this juncture, I was a little starched. I told her that I thought that it was really unfair that I was not given the opportunity to decide whether or not I would accept the lower rate and take the job. She really did not give a justifiable answer which left me with a bad feeling about doing any further business with this agency. One star is too high of a rating. You decide.

The job ticket was issued at 4:30pm on a Wed. afternoon and canceled at 6:00am the next morning by PEOPLEREADY. This was either incompetence or mis-communication between POGGENPOHL and PEOPLEREADY that cost ME, MY time and gas money. Now let me state that I've worked with Poggenpohl at ADAC in Atlanta and it was always professional and neat. Other Peopleready offices don't seem to have the problems that the Fort Myers office has, but for some reason Fort Myers consistently falls short. Either way, It was my time and gas money I spent just to see the fruition of incompetency that D.E.I. brings to the table. I hope your project or job assignment goes more smoothly.
