My Doctor, Joshua Fiske, as usual did a great job. The front desk staff were helpful and very pleasant. They showed they cared for you. My Anesthesiologist Dr. Greco was friendly and did a wonderful job for my first time under sedation. I can't say enough kind words for my nurse, Cathy M. She was with me the whole way and was the epitome of what a nurse should. be.

He sent me for an Xray in the hospital, The report was ready on October 7th 2024, and he told me that he would contact me after he read the Xray and would tell me if a surgical procedure would have to be performed. It's been over three weeks, and he still has failed to contact me. I have left him many messages online and he hasn't responded to any of my messages. He does not read online messages. I have made many attempts to contact him at his office and selected all options and was connected to the same person whose mailbox was full and not accepting any messages. I have caller ID and tried calling him on the number he called, and I got a recording that this number doesn't accept incoming calls. There was no way I could speak with somebody... I will never use a Doctor located in his building at 140 Bergen St Newark NJ part Of Hospital. These people have no respect for their patients... How can you have a doctor who you cant contact if you need help. I do not recommend any doctor in the University Hospital Urology Department. I contacted Patient Relations and they don't answer phones and left many messages. This Urology Department is an embarrassment to the medical profession !!! .

I was a little pessimistic once I parked along the street of the office because it was hard to distinguish the office from the outside.The office is a brownstone, so it has an antique feel to it. It's definetly, a hidden gem. However, once I went inside it has a very home feeling about. Many of us are used to clinic, hospital like settings like a planned parenthood or doctor's office and thats why it has a different ambiance to it. A nurse came into the office and said good morning to us who were waiting in the front. There was a good amount of us waiting, so it assured me that this place must be good.The P.A that did my pap smear was young and so informative. She answered every single one of my questions. We should have left once we walked in, the office floor was dirty and looked as if it had not been vacuumed in weeks, it smelled of mildew, and the staff continuously walked into the waiting area to spray some sort of deodorizer to mask the smell. The billing department and staff are IMPOSSIBLE. Even after speaking to the owner and being assured the bill would be coded properly I am still to this day receiving bills stating that our au pair came in for a routine yearly pap. Please tell me when a burning UTI is a yearly pap? We have decided to just pay the bill and once and for all be done with this doctor, and this company. Take my advice and find somewhere else!
