March 12, 2024 I traded a Kubota 5.5 ton excavator for a brand new $73,000.00 New Holland C332 tracked loader. (Skid steer) I went on vacation. I came home and loaded the skid steer to take it to a gravel parking lot to do a small gravel job. The machine broke down after 20 minutes of use and the dealership had to come pick it up. Numerous fault codes. I asked the dealership to reverse the deal as I did not feel comfortable with a machine that has numerous electrical codes on the very first use. The dealership stated they did not have the cash flow to reverse the deal. Corporate is zero help. I asked them to replace my skid steer with another identical. Again, they cannot because they do not have the cash flow to cover the machine. I was told the only way that they could get me out of the machine was to trade in for a new machine. If I keep the skid steer, I am stuck with a machine that already has problems. If I trade the machine off, I lose money. I felt stuck. Jason offered to trade me a New Holland E37c cab excavator in an attempt to get me into a new machine. It just so happened to be the exact same price as my skid steer. (Imagine that) When I questioned Jason as to why the excavator was so much more money than every other E37c online, he made it out to be that his machine had "all the options" A few days later, I received a call that the excavator was all prepped and ready to go. I drove over, pick it up. I unload it off of my trailer and park it so that I can go back to work. As I am walking away, I notice the bucket is shiny from oil. As I walk up to the machine, I notice hydraulic oil pouring out of this brand new machine that I didn't even want but felt stuck taking. They sent their tech over Darin. Darin is a great guy. Darin worked all afternoon and even came back the following this morning to try to get this machine to stop leaking fluid. After replacing springs, hydraulic hoses, fittings, removing the hydraulic quick attach, he finally got it to stop leaking. That was it for me. I contact 3 different dealerships looking to just be done with New Holland all together. I wanted to trade it off. This machine carries a trade value of between $29,000-$40,000.00 today. That is not even 24 hours after I bought it. To sum this up. I traded a paid for $84,000.00 5.5 ton excavator for a skid steer that had problems on day 1. They gave me a 3.7 ton excavator to make it right. I have managed to lose work hours. Peace of mind, and most importantly between $33,000.00- $44,000.00 in 24 hours all because I made the stupid mistake of trusting Jason Shourdes and New Holland brand. If you are allergic to money, enjoy being taken advantage of or if you just like being the victim of highway robbery then this is the dealership for you. I am sick over this deal. If others of you have been taken advantage of in this way, please reach out to me. I would like my attorney to have your information. This feels like "robbing Peter to pay Paul" Never again I! read more
