The attendant was kind and patient with me as I asked questions about how to use vending machine for detergent (double quarters for each slot equaling 2.50) . And also helped to make change from my $20 so I could get $10 in quarters from their change machine. They have; an ATM, pac man and pin ball games, bubble gum dispenser, soda vending and a snack vending machine. Single person bathroom , couple shower rooms next to it. Main room is smaller washer dryers , by change machine is a back room with larger washer dryers. Washers 2.50 each load in main room and 4.00 large one in back, dryers are 25cents for 6 minutes. read more

The laundromat is great to use. But they have several plants that need watering and some care. The attendant with all the nose and face piercings, when alerted by a me about their condition she replied and refused to water them. Stating she doesn't do the plants. I've worked with plants forty years they are dying from lack of water. Most of the time she sits on her butt drawing. Really poor customer services. Her attitude is shameful. I suggest you don't have plants if your staff are not capable of taking care of them. She said previously that they've been overwatered well that might've been the case about three to four weeks ago but they're no longer overwatered. They need some care and it's really hard to see how badly they're cared for by your staff. Disappointed long-time customer. read more

Working out in the Alaska bush days at a time. No water, no facilities, no modern technology. A man needs recuperation ! A hot shower makes everything better... and cleaner. The staff are friendly and helpful. The showers are clean - I pay under 8 dollars. The water is hot, the pressure is good, and they aren't that uptight about keeping time if it's slow. Treat yourself and come here to do laundry and take a shower. read more

I have spent a lot of money in this place and I show up one Sunday at 7:30 with one bag of clothes to wash only and she told me no that I could not start a little while because they close at 9:00 I said ma'am I only need to wash them I don't need to use the dryer and she said nope sorry that is poor customer service very poor customer service I will never come here again the owner needs to be aware that they're turning down money because she wants to make sure she's out here exactly at 9:00 I could have been out of here at 8:30 very dissatisfied very unhappy read more

I was referred to Kenai Wash & Dry to rent linens for my daughter's wedding in August 2020. They were very reasonably priced and the customer service was just great. I was able to pick up the table cloths on Thursday and return them on Saturday. The cost was $1.50 per table cloth, if we returned them no on time......which was easy. We had chairs to return, kegs, and also the table cloths. Very easy rental, no pressure and no hassle. read more

I've been coming to Kenai Wash and Dry for years. In the 80's I was homeless and living on the streets but I always looked forward to my monthly shower at KW&D. After I got my life together I continued to come here mainly for the nostalgia and the video games. The showers are always clean, the water is hot but the star of the show are the towels!!! They are pleasantly soft and big, I would almost use the word DEVINE!! News flash people, this just in, KW&D ain't so perfect. How can they not be perfect? Well my friends old lady went in and dropped of laundry the other day and the lady at the front was really rude to her. I think her feelings were hurt and it might have triggered her PTSD and I'd hate for her to end up back working on the streets again. You never know what someone is going through so be kind! Just kidding my friends old lady is just pregnant and her hormones are on FIRE!!!! Still no excuse for the bad service. read more

Always been a wonderful place to stop in & shower, toss in a load. Been doing this for at least the last several years. This trip however: not the best service. Hours are extended to 10p, last load at 8:15 & last shower at 9:15. Walk in at 8:15 to bath my grandkids and was told two people in front of us would be 9 so they can't allow me to bath them. When I explained the math, I got no response from the lady but "have a good evening". I get wanting to close early but if you've got customers - stay open your designated times. I am not asking special treatment - but honor what's posted. Unacceptable. read more

Whether you're a tourist, traveler, fisherman, homeless, or just without running water as are many in Alaska, this place has your back! It opens pretty early and stays open late, to suit your schedule. There are coin-op washers and dryers of all load capacities, as well as four tanning rooms, and three shower rooms. I've always loved this place because of how clean it was; I have never had a bad showering experience, it's rejuvenating every time. It runs about $6 per shower which has a posted time limit of 20 minutes. But the staff is very friendly and will usually give you as long as you need in there as long as they aren't slammed with customers waiting...and yes they have a men and women's restroom for public use. They also sell drinks and ice cream, as well as toiletry supplies for showering customers and tanning lotions. A word to the wise: During the summer fishing months, this place is EXTREMELY crowded, so plan on waiting at least an hour in between tides. read more
