It has windshield squeegee using water (wasn't soapy water). There is a touchless car wash and it must be popular because there was a lineup of 8 cars at 8:00 pm on a Sun. The carwash is awesome. Touch-less and except for the back of the van gets the cars clean. I try to use this feature every time I fill up in the winter. There can be huge lines so timing can be important. I never eat or drink at these places. so I cant speak to that. But if you need some chips or a hot coffee this place has got that for you. Lastly, I like the EasyPay system. no fuss no muss. Shell's system works really well, including things like the car wash. Just don't loose the FOB. Now... should we start a complaint around this ethanol as additive? 10% added? this is a sham. At least shell tells you the percentage of each grade of fuel.

They have two self ordering kiosk available. I haven't had KFC in a while and it was Tuesday so I decided to drop by and grab their special 2 pieces of chicken with small fries for $4.49. I remember back then they offered it for $2 called 'toonie Tuesdays'. I certainly miss this price! The chicken and fries was great, very tasty.

My fuel light lit up on my car's dashboard. I remembered this gas station and drove over. This station has a number of pumps. The downside is that many were unavailable when I was there. I pulled next to one, got out of my car, and there was a faint message on the screen that said it was out of service. So, I had to climb back into my car and find another free one. Luckily, I found one. There was a guy fuelling his car using the pump on the other side. He came over and was looking at the one that I wanted to use. Hey, buddy! I'm trying to back into this spot, but you're blocking my way. I could back into you and cause bodily harm, but I don't want your body to put a permanent dent in my car. He finally moved after a good minute. Sheesh! Gas is a bit cheaper here compared to the rest of the GTA. I used my 407 ETR rewards to get a discount per litre on gas. I paid at the pump and left. I flagged dropping by to fill up my car after I was done visiting a store nearby. It was doing steady business when I got here. There must have been eight pumps and I snagged the last one that was free. It had diesel fuel along with unleaded that I needed. Since I had recently returned from the States, I had put away my Petro-Canada rewards card. Luckily, it didn't take long for me to find it. I had no problem inserting my rewards card at the pump first. I then inserted my 407 ETR discount card, followed by my credit card. The pump was ready and did its thing thanks to the kickstand on the pump itself. This station was clean. I threw out some garbage in my car while fuelling my car. All was great. I got my receipt once I was done. I got into my car and applied hand sanitizer. What soured my experience was a guy in a red Jeep. He was impatient and obviously in a hurry. He saw me get into my car, so he lined up right behind me. I was applying hand sanitizer. He honked at me and put his high beam lights on. Seriously? What a jerk! I honked back. He honked again. I honked back for a full five seconds. He stopped. First, if you want to get into a honking match, I have all the time in the world to reciprocate. Second, I have so much patience in the world that I will stay at this pump even longer, just to irritate you more. High beams don't bug me. I am so used to driving at night with inconsiderate drivers who don't turn off their high beams when approaching my car. Be my guest. I don't tolerate immaturity and rudeness. If it were my dad in this situation, would this young jerk do the same thing to an older driver, or was he targeting a woman just for kicks? Maybe he's consistent and is rude to everyone because he's simply a jerk. It was a shame that this guy drove a Jeep. Most owners are nice. He deviated from the norm, giving Jeep owners and perhaps young men a bad rap. Other than this incident, which I hope was an anomaly, I'd drop by this gas station again.
