I have always wanted to visit this place and last Friday I was able to do so with my family. I have been to the Houston location but this time I get to visit KSC and I am in awe. It was an easy drive from MCO international airport. Parking was a breeze. Plenty of things to see here but the Atlantis caught my attention as I stepped up to the entrance of the complex. But the highlight definitely was the bus tour. Very good and informative. Would not have seen so much of the complex if it wasn't for the complimentary service offered here at KSC. I genuinely enjoyed my visit to the KSC and I would come back again if time permits.

Parking is a little expensive, the humidity and heat in Florida is no joke and the crowds rival the ones you'll see at any Disney theme park. Even with that being said, it's still very much worth going at least once in your lifetime. This is where history is made. SpaceX and Amazon have property here as well. This is where Sterling satellites are launched from. This is where the space shuttle takes off from and yes there are viewing platforms where you can obtain tickets to view a rocket launch. The most part the majority of everything you view and all of the tours take place inside very air conditioned buildings and adequately air conditioned tour buses. It is limited where you are allowed to get out and just wander for obvious reasons. This is a working control center. It was definitely worth the $71 for entry. Pro tip, if you wish to take the behind the scenes tour you need to do this and schedule it at least 3 weeks I had to time of your visit. I purchased my ticket for it 2 months out. I get there early they own at 09:00 and I was able to park up front, therefore not losing my vehicle iykyk lol even with that being said, the parking is not nearly as chaotic as anything that is Mickey Mouse land related. A lot of experiences for families and children. History is well documented here.

What a spacious and huge center! I was surprised! If I would have to take 0.5 star off, it would be that all two dipping dots vending machine are out of order! There is a main store at the entrance but not on the other popular sites! Shopping was great experience: all the check out can be self checkout! So speedy and accurate too. Love the bus tour: a MUST! Also the exhibits, shows, short movies, etc are so worth it. Just remember you are in Florida: MUST bring an umbrella! Thunder storms can happen anytime anywhere.

We paid $15 to park at the Kennedy Space Center. We purchased our $77 tickets each & got on a 2 hr line for the bus tour. We spent a full day from opening to close exploring the space center. I downloaded the app and tried to see everything. It was very busy Tuesday, we waited on many lines. In retrospect we should have paid an extra $10 for a 2 day pass, trying to take in the whole experience required more than an 8 hour day. I enjoyed all of the simulators. The shuttle launch experience took us into outer space with shaking, rotating, smoke & sounds. The rock garden was filled with model rockets. We went on a journey to Mars with videos & full scale models. There was a lot of excitement here with the Artemis launch & astronauts all around. We went through many huge pricey gift shops. There were many good food choices that were expensive, had lines & weren't exciting. There were many clean well stocked restrooms & water fountains around the space center.

I'm a bit surprised at how long it's taken me to check out Kennedy Space Center having lived in Florida for so long, but we finally found a reason when buying a launch package for Artemis II. The launch itself was cool and definitely something everyone should do once. The only drawback is the traffic to get out of the area as a 45 minute drive became 4 hours. The park itself is very educational in nature and those opportunities are great. Every section seems to have a story or tidbits of info which makes sense for how much our space program has done. That being said, there was a lot of hurry up and wait. You're inclined to want to do everything, but there's only so much time in the day. I also think it would be beneficial to appeal to other types of learning. A lot of the information is auditory or presented as a lecture which isn't my favorite. KSC is still a cool place to check out and I would recommend it. The immersion in the Apollo center was probably one of my favorite experiences. I think with all the technology we have and NASA capabilities it would be a bit more high tech/immersive. Also shoutout to all of the staff here, everyone we talked to was incredibly kind and helpful.

I think part of what was really nice here is that if you buy tickets to a launch you get another entrance within the 30 days post launch as part of the package. This makes it totally worth while. The bus ride that is included out to gantry 39 and the Apollo/Saturn complex is really cool. The views out at the gantry are stunning and I think my favorite part of the day was the Apollo/saturn complex. The video of before you enter the Atlantis complex was also really good. The surprise at the end was unexpected. If I had to provide feedback it would be that it was a lot of waiting in line without always really being sure what I was in line for. It wasn't that I had a problem with the lines (we went on a Saturday that was so hosting an educator appreciation event that we were unaware of) it was that I didn't know what was at the other end of the line, or how long until the next show. For instance, when you arrive at the Atlantis complex you just go up a big ramp and are in a line for a show...no info on length of show or time until next show. When you get off the buss at the Apollo complex you wait to get in for a show, but again no news on time until next show or how long the show is. I liked all the shows. I would watch them again. I just wanted more info. Every person we talked to or heard a guided tour from was knowledgeable and pleasant. One of them even told us how to apply to work there! The launch viewing day was awesome too. We got lucky that Artemis 2 went on time on its first try. We were able to get really great views in parking lot area 2 and it wasn't so crowded that I felt overwhelmed. We do need to go back though because we weren't able to do everything in one day. I will say we made the most of the day, but missed a few things!

This is such a magnificent place! I can't believe I've lived in Florida for so long and I've never gotten the chance to come and visit! We came on a day where there was plenty of rain but we did as much as we could with two littles. They have plenty of food options there, and no shortage of snacks. I love the kids area with the different sections for different age groups. The slide was such a hit! They have plenty of shows for different ages, the Fraggle rock show was awesome! There are plenty of simulations, although those the lines are pretty long to get in. They have bus tours us as well. That run on a schedule that you can pick up on you first enter the complex. It's just such a beautiful place to learn and to explore. You could meet a real astronaut as well and go to a show that has a simulator on your chair! This place is so cool and I will definitely be back another time, but probably only with other adults so that we can make the most of our time. The restrooms are fairly clean and the gift shop is beautiful. I didn't get to make it up to the upstairs, which had the kids section, but next time!

The Kennedy Space Center Visitor Center was a great museum. It was very educational with lots of things to do. We were there for five hours and did not experience everything. You could definitely be there for a whole day. They have a ride that's like an incredibly small version of Disney's Soarin. If you love astronauts, you will have a blast. Pun intended.

A must for anyone fascinated with space or sci-fi or especially if you have kids... A great place to get them interested in STEM! Definitely expensive though for admission... We came here just a few years before (just before Covid) and the price almost doubled.

The parking lot opens 30 minutes prior to opening, and parking costs $15. Once we arrived, we used the restrooms located outside the paid entrance area and waited for the gates to open. When the park opened, we passed through metal detectors and scanned our tickets to enter. Admission Snapshot (2025) Adults: about $75 Kids (3-11): about $65 Parking: about $15 per car ** we found a discount and got in for the kids price. Once inside the complex, we headed straight toward the bus tour line, although buses don't begin running until 9:30 AM (the park opens at 9 AM). While waiting, we spent some time browsing the gift shop located near the bus area. Employees told us not to worry about standing in line early since they run many buses throughout the day and it's usually easy to get on one. Just before 9:30, we joined the line. Guests take a photo before boarding, which was actually the main reason for the short wait. From there, we were directed onto a bus within about five minutes. The bus tour works by dropping visitors off at different stops. You can explore each area as long as you want and then join the line for the next bus when you're ready to move on. There are two stops on the tour: * Gantry at LC-39 * Launch Pad 39-A Altogether, it took us about 2.5 to 3 hours to explore both stops. We also grabbed lunch at the Moon Rock Café at the second stop. The food was decent and reasonably priced for a tourist attraction. We spent about $30-35 for two people, which included a hot sandwich, fries, and a drink Our visit happened to coincide with a unique moment. A used rocket was being transported back to SpaceX, which temporarily shut down the roadway. This left us stranded at the first bus stop for several minutes, but it also meant we got an up-close look as the rocket rolled right past us. Back at the main visitor complex, we explored the Rocket Garden, the Space Shuttle Atlantis building, Gateway, Journey to Mars, and another gift shop. The gift shop at the main complex is quite large, though there are additional gift shops at each bus stop as well. They sell all kinds of NASA and space-themed merchandise, including collaborations with well-known brands for higher-quality items. The visitor complex also includes several rides and interactive experiences, making it a very hands-on and kid-friendly destination.

A must visit if you are in the area! We tried the bus tour and visited the Space Shuttle Atlantis exhibit. I really enjoyed both, but learning about Atlantis and seeing the real thing in person felt really special. If I get the chance to visit KSC again, I could spend the whole day here. The exhibits are designed in a way that have you go through 1-2 rooms with videos that introduce you to the exhibit first. I thought this was helpful and kept things organized while preventing overcrowding. There were really long lines to get in on a Saturday at opening. Tip: look for the shortest line. We wasted a lot of time waiting in the longest line before I saw there were shorter lines. Food is a bit pricy, but my burger was pretty good and it was filling. My mom did not like her chicken sandwich.

I visited here in November 2025 as an excursion to kill time between getting off my cruise ship and a later flight and it did not disappoint! I want to say we had about 4 hours here to explore before getting on the bus to the airport and it was a great amount of time although I would say one more hour would have been the most ideal for wandering alone as I was. There's so much to see and explore. I learned so much while I was there! I definitely left even more curious about NASA and came home to watch a documentary. The gift store is incredible. There's smaller ones throughout but a very large one near the exit. Theres photo ops with photographers if you like! I got some fun ones in uniform. I look like a real astronaut! I would advise to wear layers because it will be hot inside but then cold inside some of the buildings. There is plenty of food to eat. Staff is wonderful. I have nothing negative to say; awesome experience and wish I lived closer so I could go again!

We lucked out. It was not too crowded. They have a nice temperature controlled kennel (it was free). $&& to get in and more $$ to park , buy that's how it's funded. Very educational, tons of bathrooms, very clean. A LOT of walking and standing. (Word to the wise, rent the scooter, and not really the best place e for toddlers... they'd be bored)

Are strollers allowed around the park and/or inside the exhibits?

Yes, although you'll need to fold them to get on busses to visit the other buildings

We have a family trip planned here for April. Are backpacks allowed? Is it best to pack your own lunch and snacks or purchase here? Is it normally crowded with long lines…

I was there in March, there was a long line when I arrived about 15 min. before opening. I would arrive earlier next time. Backpacks are allowed but searched. We ate there, it was a little pricey, but not overly so.

There's some kid stuff, and IMAX movies but yes...it sort of depends on the kid. I had a 10 year old struggle to really get what was going on, but our 12 year old was really into at the time. (She was the same one I had taken when she was probably…

Do we need to make a reservation or buy any tickets in advaced?

You do not need to, however it will save you time. Also if you want to do lunch with the astronaut then you definitely will need to reserve that ahead of time.

Can you bring outside food and drinks to save some money?

Yes, we brought snacks and drinks

Do you need to print your tickets or can you use the tickets on your phone?

You can use them on your phone. They email you a copy and they scan them when you go through the gate.

Is this place good/worth the money for an 18, 15 year old boys and 12 year old girl?

Absolutely. There are imax movies, meet an astronaut, a lot of history, a ride to the large facility that holds the extra large rockets (you will also pass the launching pad), and so much more. So glad we fit this stop in. I have 11 year old twin…

I want to take my 4 1/2 year old. He likes space ships but concerned if it may be too much for him. Is this over his head?

My son loves space, space ships, astronauts, etc. We took him when he was about 4 1\2 and he loved it and keeps asking to go back. People had told me he'd be bored and wasn't yet old enough for it, but they were so wrong. I think it probably…

I ultimately only chose to come here because it was the closest place with manatee viewing. I made the drive from Orlando, and made my first stop at the Visitor Center. If you have your America the Beautiful pass, you're all set, but I didn't get a new one this year, so I paid $10 for my visitor pass. Cin at the volunteer desk was super helpful and showed me where I should go. I ultimately decided on the Black Point Wildlife Drive - a 7-ish mile drive that provided some great opportunities to see various birdlife. If you're a birder - which apparently I've become - you'll enjoy this. I saw a variety of species almost immediately, and I bet there are even better times to come through this area to see larger flocks during migration. I took my time on the drive and enjoy the quiet and relative remoteness of the place. After that I headed east and then north to check out the Manatee Observation Deck by the Haulover Canal. I stayed here for a short amount of time, but didn't see anything. So on Cin's advice, I went back toward the Bairs Cove boat launch. And boy was this a treat. There were no people when I first arrived, but there were definitely manatees. After a while, a few other people showed up just for watching manatees - not to put boats in. One lady put her feet in the water and manatees came up and booped their noses on her feet. It was incredible to see these creatures in the wild - some of them mothers with little ones twirling around by their sides. The skies started to turn black, and while I personally missed the rainstorm, it was time to pack up and head out back to Orlando. I'm so glad I made the decision to come here, and I highly recommend it for any of those who are nature-lovers!

It is a…read moreflagship Environmentally Endangered Lands (EEL) property and offers visitors an opportunity to experience one of Florida's most diverse natural landscapes. In 1911, Edgar W. Ellis, J. H. Beckwith, and a consortium of developers established the Titusville Fruit and Farm Lands Company after acquiring 22,500 acres of marshland within the historic Delespine Grant. Their ambitious goal was to drain the wetlands and convert them into productive farmland. What they failed to appreciate was the massive coquina rock ridge hidden beneath the landscape. Excavation equipment proved incapable of cutting through the rock, preventing completion of the project's main canal. Without adequate drainage, the venture collapsed financially. Ironically, this failed engineering project was the very thing that helped preserve the land in its natural state. Nearly a century later in he 1990s, the property was designated for conservation, becoming the very first acquisition under Brevard County's Environmentally Endangered Lands (EEL) Program. On August 27, 1999, the Enchanted Forest Sanctuary officially opened to the public. Today, visitors can explore a unique ecosystem where northern temperate and southern subtropical habitats overlap. The sanctuary contains five distinct habitat types, oak scrub, mesic hammock, hydric hammock, wet prairie, and pine flatwoods that support abundant native wildlife. You may see gopher tortoises, white-tailed deer, bobcats, Florida scrub lizards, and even the rare Eastern indigo snake. More than 4.5 miles of well-maintained hiking trails starting at the visitors center wind through the preserve, making it excellent for hiking, wildlife observation, birdwatching, and nature photography. The Management & Education Center features interactive exhibits that explain the sanctuary's natural history and diverse habitats. You may want to stop in here first because the center also offers trail maps, restrooms, and a water fountain for visitors. On weekends, the sanctuary offers free naturalist-led guided hikes lasting approximately 45 minutes and covering about one mile of the trail system. These walks typically include portions of the Coquina, Biodiversity, Mesic, Tomoka, and Tortoise Trails while introducing visitors to Florida's endangered upland ecosystems and the plants and animals that call them home. One of the preserve's most distinctive historical features is the network of overgrown canals, remnants of the failed agricultural project from more than a century ago. Now recognized as a Florida Heritage Site, these canals stand as a lasting reminder of an ambitious engineering vision that nature ultimately reclaimed. Enchanted Forest Sanctuary is one of Titusville's true natural gems. It's a beautiful place where history and nature exist side by side. Unfortunately when I came when the weather was pushing a 105 degrees. They were also doing a prescribed burn on some of the trails so they were closed and the air was smokey. For the most enjoyment I recommend visiting during the cooler months of the year.

You do need to sign in at the front desk. Sometimes there is someone at the desk to greet you. There are accessible restrooms inside the main building. There are a few different trials, in which all are marked. Throughout the trials, there are clear signs and markings as you navigate your way through the sanctuary. I love the coquina trial. There are pretty views and I have seen on occasion turtles on my walks.

I love Florida's deep connection to the space program so I was excited to finally visit Space View…read morePark in Titusville, one of the best places to appreciate the legacy of the space program. Dedicated in July 1994 through a partnership between the City of Titusville and the U.S. Space Walk of Fame Foundation, the 2.63 acre park honors not only the astronauts who made history but also the thousands of engineers, technicians, and support personnel whose work made the nation's space program possible. Space View Park is located on the Indian River, less than 15 miles directly across from the launch pads at Kennedy Space Center. This gives the park outstanding views of rocket launches while serving as an outdoor museum celebrating the achievements of the U.S. space program. It is the only park where you can walk through the entire history of the manned missions that launched from nearby Kennedy Space Center. The idea for the Space Walk of Fame began in 1988 when a local physician proposed creating a project to preserve the history of America's space program. That vision led to the formation of the Space Walk of Fame Foundation and eventually to the creation of Space View Park as the centerpiece of the memorial. Over the years, the park has grown with the addition of several large monuments. The Mercury Monument, featuring the astronauts' handprints, was dedicated in 1995, followed by the Gemini Monument in 1997. The Space Shuttle Monument was added in 2002 to recognize the workers who supported the shuttle program, and after eight years of planning and construction, the Apollo Monument was completed and dedicated in 2007. In addition to the monuments there is a restroom, boardwalk, picnic pavilions, benches, and a 85 foot pier for fishing. The park was also designed to treat stormwater. Runoff from the surrounding 114 acres of commercial property is captured in a wet detention pond that prevents sediment and floating trash from entering the Indian River Lagoon. It also removes nutrient that would harm the ecosystem of the lagoon. The park has free street parking but no shade so try not to come on a day when it is 105 degrees out like I did. The Gemini monument requires a short walk and it is much easier when it is not so hot out. Space View Park adjoins Veterans Memorial Park on the Indian River waterfront, where you can often find manatees in the colder months. I found this park to be a meaningful place to reflect on the remarkable accomplishments of America's space program while enjoying one of the area's most scenic waterfront settings. The handprints were especially poignant reminders of some of the astronauts no longer with us.

The park sits on a finger canal that leads directly to the Indian River Lagoon. People gather at this park not only to gather historic data, but to view the Kennedy Space Center rocket launches something that is on my bucket list. No public restrooms here and vagrants linger in the area.
