Dr. Kennet is by far the best orthodontist, I wouldn't trust anyone else with my teeth. His office feels like home and all of his staff treat you like family. It's been two years and I can honestly say I'm just sad that my Invisalign is done now. I have had crooked teeth all my life and was told that in order to fix them I would have to get metal braces. At 30 years old that wasn't even an option, my dating life is bad enough. Dr. Kennet reassured me that Invisalign could transform my teeth and I also got my jaw pushed forward by Dr. Michael Heath who is the best jaw surgeon ever. Dr. Kennet has all the latest technology and he even called me personally after my surgery to see how I was doing. What other orthodontist does that? You would be a fool to pass him up. Don't trust anyone else with your smile except him. Originally planned to create 2 gaps in my teeth large enough to fit implants, went through a 4 year process of braces. After the 4 years creating these gaps, they took my braces off and gave me a retainer before i go through the implant process. After consulting with an implant surgeon, they told me there wasn't enough room in my gaps for implants. After hearing this news i realized that 4 years of creating space, Kennet himself told me I had enough room. I didn't have enough room, and now he has ignored numerous calls and avoided meetings. Thousands of dollars for this process and they now tell us that there isn't anything they can do. I truly hope if you have kids with teeth issues you don't send them here, I've suffered enough with my teeth condition and Kennet offered help, he told me everything is done but now we need to redo the whole process elsewhere. I originally thought this office did an amazing job--they closed my gap, which was exactly what I wanted. However, the experience fell apart when they gave me the worst retainer imaginable. It was so thick I couldn't wear it, and as a result, my gap started to reopen. When I went back to discuss fixing it with braces or Invisalign, they refused and instead suggested I get veneers. So, they referred me to a dentist. That dentist, who was fantastic and honest, told me they were completely wrong and that the gap should've just been closed as I had asked them to do then I could consider bonding after braces. Here I am now, paying another $4,000 at a new office to redo the treatment they should've provided me the first time. It's frustrating and disappointing--I could not and would not recommend them to anyone anymore based on my experience. read more

Worst service ever. DO NOT RECOMMEND. They cancelled appointments last minute more than once. My step daughter's teeth were chipped on the surface from the braces being left on too long per her dentist. Omitted my full name for fear of retaliation as I have read others have suffered this based on their reviews I have seen. Will be taking legal action against them at this point. read more

Macomb MI - My daughter had braces put on by this office. The experience was OK overall. The staff isn't too friendly but because of COVID I didn't have to deal with them all that much. My daughter had her braces on for 2 years, then she was fitted for the 2 retainers I purchased. Her retainers had 2 false teeth built into them as well, as she was born without 2 of her main teeth in the front (very visible teeth). The retainers they provide are similar to an Invisalign (clear - not wired like the old school ones). We went to pick them both up and when they gave them to her they were defective. The retainers 2 front teeth were ruined, it wasn't made correctly - the clear coat or whatever it was on the 2 front teeth was messed up like it didn't dry right. I pointed it out to them, and they were rude. They said they can TRY to fix it in house. We brought them both in and they FILED the clear plastic - which then made her two front teeth on the retainer incredible cloudy (BRAND NEW retainers mind you - that costs me $100's). They brought them back over to me stating if they filed them anymore it'd crate a hole in the plastic. I requested they re-order the retainers from the lab and they didn't want to. I finally explained to them that I just purchased these DEFECTIVE retainers, and now they're even worse after they filed them. My daughter waited 2 years for this, and this specific retainer provided her with 2 of her front teeth, WHY WOULD THEY DO THIS?! That's all I kept thinking. Thye offered to make new ones in house, but they wouldn't be as good as the retainers the lab makes. I was so confused of WHY they would sell me these 2 retainers (at full price lol), then ruin them, and then make me take home some that were maybe 1/2 as good as the ones I bought. Well I wasn't going to do that. I finally requested to talk with the manager and told her that wasn't an option for me. I was calm the entire time, she eventually told me she understood. Her analogy was "I get it, you wouldn't buy a brand-new care with a giant scratch on it". Exactly!!! She eventually ordered her 2 new retainers from the actual lab. Thank God. We finally go to pick up the new retainers - my daughter went in alone to grab them. The employee there said to her, "make sure you try both of these on, we don't want your mom flipping out on us again". LOLOLOL - whaaaaat?! This was crazy to me, I never once lost my cool on this office. Never. They were mad that I refused to take damaged retainers (both of them were damaged - FYI). I couldn't believe she said that, but especially TO my daughter. THIS OFFICE IS RUDE - my other 2 daughters needed braces - we are now over at Lifetime Orthodontics - man what a difference in staff. And the doctor interacts with the parents/patients. He's amazing. I would NEVER go back to Kennet. Turns out, I hear a lot of people reporting Kennet's staff is rude and unprofessional. The worst Orthodontist office. They will talk you into getting their services most likely with a good price but no discount is worth the hassle that you'll have for the next 2 to 3 years depending on how long your kid is embraces. Then as you go through it if your kid bracket breaks or you have an emergency good luck they never have any appts available. The office people are very rude and constantly changing so it's very obvious that this office has a problem!!! Regardless if they give you a good deal or not it's not worth the hassle that they give you! read more

Staff is nice I give them that. The reason I give them 2 star is the fact that they still don't allow parents in the room with the kids. We got braces same time covid hit but now 2 years later and still no parents are allowed back. It's very convenient for them since kids don't know what to ask I guess us parents are too much of a headache for them. I feel rushed to ask questions and let's face it even in the hospital they allow visitors and here they don't, just ridiculous. My child is wearing retainers now and a few months after having braces off I had to bring him in for new retainers, now I was just told that we were told he should never wear both retainers unless one gets damaged and then he could move on to his other retainer. I straight up told her I was never told because I'm never allowed back in the room and you telling a 14 year old important information like that is ridiculous, they don't pay attention and by the time they get to the car they already forget. Original price another $500 for retainers but she worked with me for a more decent amount. Very disappointed. read more

It was my daughters first visit today and they were wonderful! We had a good with the appointment (probably my fault) and they were so accommodating and fit us right in! The Dr. was so kind and funny, it helped put us at ease with the whole process. Everyone was so nice and they seemed to really function and work well with one another. This is hands down the best office I have ever been to in my life. Everything from the fingerprint 2-second check-in, to the comfortable chairs to the fun events and contests they plan, is just really the best. There has never been a time where I have waited at all past my appointment time. And Dr Kennet and his staff are the friendliest, most professional staff I have ever experienced. They all love their jobs and you can just see it and feel it when you are there. There may be a wait for an appointment (because they are that spectacular), but it is worth the wait! If you are considering Invisalign or braces this is definitely the place for you! Also: They have a "smile shuttle" that will pick you up for your appointment and drop you off. Do not recommend, this office staff is the rudest ever, they do not keep their word on insurance policies in case of replacement of retainers and scheduling appointments is a nightmare. Bizarre, one would expect that you would periodically meet with your Orthodontist that is working on your children. Nope, not once. Even when I requested a meeting. You will not meet with this Orthodontist at the initial consultation, you will not meet with this Orthodontist EVER! We had issues with wires breaking and baby teeth being connected to the braces. We requested meetings with Dr. Kennet and was denied. We had some assistants that he shoved in front of us to dodge discussions revolving around our concerns/issues, and they were very short and rude. Not sure they enjoyed working their either. Seems they eventually left the practice. Oh, and the shuttle they advertise. Forget about it. It was ironically ALWAYS booked even though i always saw the vehicle sitting in the parking lot. After we completed the first phase we left. Awful experience. Do yourself a solid and seek another practice. read more

I've been to a few orthodonists in my time. But I recently had the incredible experience of going with my 30 year old daughter to Kennet Orthodontics. First the staff is the nicest you can even imagine. Then all the newest technology! OMG. Dr. Kennet is the sweetest, most personable man we have ever met. You dont leave the office with any questions gone unanswered and there is virtually no waiting time. He treats you like you are the most important person in the world. I cant say enough about this Doctor and his staff. Of course we signed up for braces with him! I wouldn't consider taking my daughter anywhere else!!! Too bad this office advertises "convenient" office hours - they only schedule Saturday appointments once per month and evening appointments once per week - and that's if you're fortunate enough to get an appointment 6-8 weeks out!!! That's convenience? Certainly not for working customers who must drive their children after work hours. My child has missed several days of school just so we can get serviced at 11 am or 2 pm - the time of day when they schedule specific services. So if you're looking for an office that will work around the customers availability- this is NOT the service provider for you! Today, many service providers measure their success on customer satisfaction- unfortunately the poor customer care has put a backseat to reviewing any skills of the doctor! read more

I DO NOT recommend this place at all!!!! Very rude staff and very unprofessional. I had scheduled my daughter a first appointment back in November and had to cancel due to illness. Finally re scheduled our appointment and unfortunately had to cancel to due to death in the family. Never did a no call no show always gave a heads up 2-3 days in advance and they said they would not reschedule. That's ok because not only having a family death which they did not care about apparently, but I will be more than happy to take our thousands of dollars somewhere else. The woman on the phone was so rude and even got snippy with me when I said really our grandmother just died and you are going to be rude. Buh bye Kennet Orthodontics. Office hours are not convenient for working parents or students. Be sure to know the hours before you commit to a treatment plan! They offer Saturday appointments, until you need one. And then you are told those book up months in advance. My son has been receiving invisalign treatment for almost 2 years and there is no way we will be finished with treatment according to our plan. Customer service awful! Constantly being referred to someone else...good luck speaking with Dr. Kennet. Spoke with him at the consultation and once in the two years we have been going to his office. read more
