Kenny completely saved me! When I initially booked my first massage, I had constant neck pain for close to four weeks and was going to the chiropractor every other day. My mother bought me a massage from Kenny and said that I should just try it. The chiropractor suggested that I not get any work on my neck because it could further aggravate my pain. Kenny is a massage pain specialist and worked on my neck, which I was really scared of having done. After my first session, 90% of my pain was relieved. For Christmas I would like Santa's elves to build me my own personal masseuse (does that word look fake to anyone else?). Or they can buy me a bunch of gift certificates to Kenny Lyons. I got over Barbies at least two years ago, and you can only watch a train go around a circle (or 8 loop) so many times. However, I would be super duper happy to have a lovely relaxing, hour of peace and stress relief at least weekly. Did I mention his first time customer discount? So those hard working elves can pocket that extra 16% for new pointy shoes or woodworking benches or whatnot. I saw the Yelp check-in deal, pulled up and walked in. He only had time for a 45 minute session as he had an appt, but he cut the cost accordingly and fit me in. The music was very peaceful but as much as the calming tunes and decorations are nice the important part is the relief. I asked for medium pressure, get some of that tension out without the injury of the deep tissue. I didn't once have to say too much or too little and it was both mentally relaxing and physically helpful for my stress spots. For me the clencher on that 5th star was that he actually does the TMJ massage. My dentist has been recommending I get the laser surgery to clear out some of the extra cartilage and junk around my jaw hinge and it has pretty much been a dull throb for years now. I am almost just used to it. Kenny massaged the inside and out of the joint, hitting certain pressure points and took away the pain for the first time in as long as I can remember. So maybe surgery, or maybe frequent massages - we shall see! P.S. With the discount it is pretty much $1/minutes. But even regular price with no packages is 70/hour, so quite comparable for Louisville. read more

This was the best massage of my life. I get regular massage, but every once in a while, I cheat on my guy to test the massage waters. Kenny has a new special place in my heart and I don't know if I will go back to my regular guy! Kenny took the time to listen and actually addressed my problem areas. He got into places in my neck that no man has ever touched! There were areas that I didn't even know needed massaged. I got upper body, but when I go back, I need to experience full body. The room is quiet and relaxing. Although I don't like music during massage, I was able to just tune it out and listen to the bubbling fountain. That's my favorite sound. This is the place to be if you are looking for a non pretentious but delightful massage. The building that houses Relax, Renew, Revive is nothing if not 70's-tastic but don't let that scare you off. The office is very comforting and professional. (In other words don't expect a fancy spa with all the glitz and glam.) I had a 60 minute reflexology that was amazing. Mr. Lyons delivered a relaxing and oh so deliberate foot massage. I have had many massages over the years , but this easily ranks in the top 2. Reflexology is the litmus I use to judge a massage. Passing this test is not all that easy, my feet have a pretty tough life. RRR passed with colors flying and I am already on the book for next month. read more

I've only been here once so far, but it was great! I felt very comfortable with the massage therapist and had possibly the best massage ever. I've been dealing with back pain, and Kenny was great about asking what was bothering me and working on those areas.
