Get your powdered clay by the truck load. Yep, this is one of the clay mines in the area that produces powdered clay and ships by the truck load. They are fairly easy to work with once you find the place. Modern GPSs have a hard time placing the correct location, so I pretty much did so with the Yelp map when I entered the data. One of the major drawbacks is that you work with clay powder - the stuff is very fine and is dusty, as a result. Don't get it wet, because it becomes extremely slippery. They ship by the pallet and by the super sack. As a flat bedder, I have hauled the super sack loads and find that the loading process completes fairly quickly. They back a rig into a large shed area, place a portable ramp at the rear of the trailer, then commence to loading. Once the paperwork is signed, it's time to hit the road.
