Unfortunately, my experience with the front office today was completely different. I received a phone call from a staff member named Avalon at the Toms River (Hooper Avenue) location, and the conversation was extremely upsetting. From the beginning of the call, she was rude, disrespectful, and spoke to me in a condescending manner. Instead of focusing on my appointment, she asked questions about my personal life and current situation that had nothing to do with my physical therapy. I felt as though I was being judged and made to justify why I needed treatment, even though my physician prescribed physical therapy for legitimate medical reasons. No patient should be made to feel belittled, judged, or spoken to disrespectfully while seeking medical care. This interaction left me feeling embarrassed and upset. I still have confidence in the therapists because my past treatment at Twin Boro was excellent. However, I sincerely hope management addresses how patients are treated over the phone. Professionalism, respect, and compassion should extend beyond the treatment room to every interaction a patient has with the practice.

They do not want to pay us back the over payment. They claim they are specialist. Even though pt is Not considered specialist. So everyone beware of what they are charging you of charged you. You may be owed money. Check with your insurance.
