I simply had to get an almond pastry and three macarons with passionfruit, cherry and orange flavour and all of them tasted so marvelous. So sad I came across Oma on the day of my departure shortly before heading further north. If I ever make it back to Tampere, I will get my daily dosis of macarons and surely one of their salads ... or rather some dark bread with salmon ... or some other tempting delicacies of this really great café with friendly and attentive staff ... so much to look forward to ;o)!

People come to have business meetings and to do remote work but being so crowded I've witnessed a loud gossip nightmare behind a remote worker so I doubt it's really the place to be productive. They sell their own bread and pastries - good stuff. They also serve lunch every day which includes the dish (soup or salad), bread, water and a cup of coffee or tea. Carrying coffee, baby and dessert is difficult if not impossible on any given day but imagine doing it and climbing stairs!
