Ketchie Outdoors is a small family owned business influenced and driven by a passion of the outdoors! It was established in 2005 as a part time store and opened at a new location in 2015 as a full time store. We know what it takes for something to withstand the outdoors & try to only bring products to our store for the customer that we know are worthy of us selling, so you can depend on them to last and perform. They work for us, so we know they will do so for you as well! Team KO

Meet the Business Owner: Travis K.

I started this business in 2005 part time and in 2015 brought it to a new location as a full time retail store after countless customers asked for me to do so. It was a decision I made taking a lot of things in count, but a decision that was not made lightly. I wanted to bring only the best products that I have used and abused myself in the outdoors to the table so I knew what would last and could offer my customers the best products and advice they could get for the money. I would put my name on any product for the price paid that is purchased at my store. It was something no one else at the time had done and was a big risk, but I felt with good customer service & not out growing myself that a one and your done shop could make it. She has zero customer service. Since the guy came out to help me so quickly, I believe this rude woman actually works there. Sadly, this experience is enough - their flats of annuals aren't worth giving $$$ to a company either run by or employs this person without keeping her completely away from all customers. Perhaps they should be antiquated and ACTUALLY provide real customer service at this store in Salisbury, NC. What value do they actually add to our community when they overcharge? I do many crafts, and you can't have a 4 foot section of a craft and expect to build business for that craft. How do you get customers to be loyal? Be totally involved in a craft, then show your customers, then do shows or classes. Build the excitement. This is what Hobby Lobby does. The staff is perfect, but most can answer any question or if they can not they will get an answer. I've never met anyone rude in the stores. Now about the furniture on sale for 30% off up front. We all know better. Just price it low and have signs promoting low prices. No matter what It's always a treat to shop there, and if I can shop the entire store now, that's a good day!!!
