My stylist moved her salon to another city so I had to try something new and heard good things…read moreabout Studio 31 so I decided to give it a try. The stylist recommended was JB. She was not familiar with my hair and applied color that unfortunately turned my roots very brassy. I went back a week later thinking we could apply a toner and it would tone down the red. Instead of applying toner she applied a very dark color to just the roots and the end result was worse. Honestly I am not as upset about the bad result as I am the way I was treated by the stylist. After she applied the color she instructed her assistant to wash, condition and get me out of the salon, then paused to say "make sure she isn't dripping when she leaves." I was stunned when the assistant towel dried my long, thick, curly hair and was about to send me out without brushing my wet hair as directed by the stylist. The assistant was able to pick up on my dissatisfaction and asked me if I would like for her to brush my hair before leaving the salon. The stylist never came back and checked the color or even asked if I was satisfied with the results! I spent about $250 and my hair looks worse than it did before I walked in the first day! I would not recommend this stylist, I think she needs to do better in the way she is treating her clients!

My daughter says, I've never done this before , I don't know what to do. Girl says, I think there's a button in there (the booth)or something and walks out. So my daughter gets in, no button, she starts waving her arms around, something finally triggers it. It starts, there's feet and numbers on the floor so she can follow along to get full coverage. She gets done, walls back up to the counter, no one to be found... as I said before, she has never done this so some after spray instructions would have been nice. My daughter leaves. She has a line across the middle of her forehead from where the cape was put on her and didn't get moved to her hair line. One arm and hand are her natural color and one arm and hand are spray tanned.... Complete waste... proms tomorrow... I believe the people working there need some training on their equipment and customer etiquette. I would have called and said all this directly to someone, but they close at 4:30. Do not recommend.
