He'll come out to evaluate the job, let you know what needs to be done and how. If you decide to move forward, he'll keep you posted on progress the whole way through. I couldn't be in the area when the work was being done, and Kevin not only sent me photos, but also FaceTimed in to walk me around and show me what was going on. He's clear and patient about explaining not just what he's doing, but why, and he's also a pretty funny guy which all makes it enjoyable to work with him. 3. His prices are fair. Skilled labor costs money, but Kevin charges a fair price for his expertise and his work. 4. He's safe. Dealing with thousands of pounds of equipment and wood can be dangerous to people and property. Kevin's priority is making sure everyone and everything comes through in good condition. He keeps his crew safe, he put up the necessary protection to keep our house and deck safe, and it all went well as a result. He was upfront that there may be damage to our lawn in certain places, and I appreciate the warning. For what it's worth, there was less damage than he anticipated. 5. Kevin walked the property with us, pointing out trees that were failing and could be a threat to our structures. We received a very good education. He and his team were careful, professional and removed our troubled trees with great care, maneuvering around our septic and leech field.
