After the third cancellation, I requested a refund. I was told to speak with the finance department, but despite multiple calls, messages, and in-person visits, I did not receive a response. I eventually spoke directly with Dr. Monson, who agreed to issue the refund, but as of today, I still have not received it. I am also concerned that the business is now listed as permanently closed, which adds to the uncertainty regarding my refund.

I walked over to Rachel and i have to say, in times past my experiences with getting glasses hasn't been the best it has been left to me to decide what i wanted and well, it never went well Rachel insisted she could help me find something that looked good on me, and that's exactly what she did. Ok not only did she did that but she explained how and why certain ones looked good or didn't look good. She took all the time i wanted and had about 15 pair that we narrowed down to 3 and i made a final decision on a pair, (pictured). The other two girls, Maria and Cassidy interacted with me through the process, I'm something of a clown which they picked right up on and chimed right in. It was such a fun experience, i found it hard to leave, they were so much fun!! The store was exceptionally clean and well organized with more than enough high quality trendy glasses to choose from. But more than that it was it was the exceptional service that Rachel, Maria, and Cassidy gave me, nothing scripted nothing forced. The total I was going to be charged for one pair of glasses + lenses (with anti glare and wide field progressive lens) would have been nearly $500.00 ($489.98). I asked for a print out of that quote as I believed it was extremely high. I was told one could not be printed out. However, the employee wrote the price and style down on a business card. I took my prescription and went to EYEMART in Riverdale, Ut. The exact same lens with frames of the same price, and quality, or very close to the same, was 1/2 the price and would be done a week sooner and with a better warranty (two years instead of one). Furthermore, I was able to buy a pair of sunglasses with the same lens for just a few dollars more (both pairs are the same price as one pair at SHOPKO Optical). After this experience I will NOT spend my time or money at SHOPKO Optical.
