FYI - it's usually a waste of time to give a lot of extra information. The doctor already takes it in at a glance, given their skill level. However, when it's an emotional issue there can be the tendency to want more time for a listening ear but alas, with a shortage of doctors, they don't have time to indulge that need in this setting. As a psychotherapist I highly recommend getting therapy for extra emotional support. It's why I went into that field after being a RN - I love and value all aspects of health care. The thing to decide is what is realistic for the setting you are in.

They can see from my records is that I have been on the same dose this whole time. I haven't been fishing for more. All of my UIs have come back clean. Honestly I am a model patient. Then, they never sent the referral to the pain doctor she personally recommended me to!!! Maybe she is OK if you sprain your ankle but if you have serious health issues and chronic pain like me find someone else. She Will trivialize your pain while patronizing you the whole time. They happily provided one and we set up an appointment for the check up itself once the report from lab work would be available. Next I get a surprise. Get a bill from my insurance for a doctors office visit (I didnt make any office visit except collecting a paper for blood work). Reached out to the office and the receptionist said please email our office manager (Fact check: there is no office manager, its the doctor herself). The doctor called me and said they need to pull my records/file spend time to write a lab work so its considered a service. She even went on to say, a patient is suppose to come in person for physical check up first, then we order blood work and then we set up another appointment for follow up. This said everything about the practice.
