I get a text from the install company saying they did not do outside work. I contacted my sales representative who recommended Victor of A.B remodeling. I contacted him and he came promptly and took the measurements. He told me he could do the install the next day. The temperature was 33 degrees with a 20 mile per hour wind (wind chill 20 degrees). We have no memory of this ever taking place. The last repair we clearly remember was when they replaced the entire motor in 2023, and everything has worked perfectly since then. So, over a year later, I get a random call at work about this invoice. Their explanation was that someone in their office had passed away, which is why the bill was never sent. Oddly enough, this is also the only job they've ever done at our property without taking completion photos. None of it adds up. The only "evidence" they can provide is GPS data showing their truck was supposedly at our house that day (and actually the address it's showing it was sitting at is an empty lot number for our subdivision). I was actually searching their number to pay the invoice -- because I hate the idea of owing anyone money -- and that's when I came across Lynn D's comment. Now I'm questioning the legitimacy of this invoice even more.
