I scheduled it, and when I got home the dental assistant called and stated that the dentist didn't feel comfortable doing this procedure and that I should contact an oral surgeon to do the root canal and come back for the build up and crown. Yeah they got fired on the spot. That brings me to Oak Ridge... I had called numerous dentists spanning an area of 15 square miles, and everyone was either booked 4 weeks out, or wanted me to come in to look and see if they could do the procedure. I finally contacted Oak Ridge and they said that doctor Olsen would be able to do it the very next day, and that he had 30 years experience. Not only was it a speedy process from checking in to checking out, but the doc was confident, knowledgeable, and compassionate. If I felt pain he could tell and would try and work around it, making it a nearly painless procedure. I was also impressed with the staff from the assistant to billing. I know not everyone has good experiences with a dentist, but this is my first pleasant so far.
