Kev's kitchen is a burger Van, I suspect most people would probably drive on past as you don't tend to see a Burger van at the side of the road and think 'I must stop and grab a burger'.
Now I'd been told Kev's is something a bit different and that I should make the time to get down infact I've even driven past many times but been on my way elsewhere so hadn't been able to stop. Today however I woke up with spare time (and no hangover) :) and praise be I did.
He's got all your breakfast favourites in a bun, and he'll check how you like your bacon.
His burgers though, my my... his burgers I had a double Bacon cheeseburger it was tasty, I also had a Bacon Lettuce and Mushroom because well I'm a growing boy don'tcha know...hmm... anyways bacon awesome, shrooms lovely maybe a little too much lettuce but that's hardly a bad thing.
Got chatting to Kev a little while there as I was curious he's busy, and from what I could see not from through trade it all seemed to be return visits, regulars he seemed to know everyone who was turning up even to the point that some of them weren't saying there order it was just a nod and him asking if it was the usual. from speaking to him he relies on his return trade and return trade isn't in short supply and that's because he doesnt scrimp on the produce.
His burgers aren't your cash n carry bulk (which I'd just like to add, because I'm wierd I actually really like bulk buy burgers used to get in the ones from costco but hey I like donner meat when I'm sober so maybe I have odd tastes) he gets his burgers from a butcher over in Bramhall... because well he figured if he had better burgers people would come back, and they do which I think speaks for itself, bare in mind that just round the corner from here there are pubs, McD's, KFC and various other eating establishments, but Kevs always has people standing outside it (as I say driven past it many times just today I was one of those people stood around it).
It may seem odd, strange to talk about a burger van in this way but really if you get the chance get yourself down there.
If you're trying to find the place when you're driving down the road there's a Snooker Club which is at the front of a small industrial estate, opposite a Carpet World, Kev's Kitchen is at the opposite end of the Ind.Estates car park from the snooker club, just infront of the railway bridge read more
