Last year was looking for some help with tax return as there were a few elements that left me less comfortable self filing like I normally do. Kermit seemed like a good price. However there was little to no communication past a short round of information gathering, and April turned into June, Kermit told me that they needed some information and that I should call his assistant Sarah to provide. Info was provided, and the line went dead. Emails are almost never replied to and phone calls are almost always either to voice mail or a "He's / I'm Busy can he call you back soon?" -- And are also never returned. I called / emailed every couple of weeks through till August when I was told that he had most of it done but still needed info from the state of Hawaii. At that time I paid a 20k estimated tax (still no taxes filed) to feds (nothing to state?) at his suggestion. Now it's Feb. 2019, and my taxes still aren't filed.
